I think Stuart Price did the mixing on those 2  - would love her to work with him again for her live shows as he knows what sounds great

She sounded really good throughout but the test came when she performed 'Crazy' as for some reason I REALLY wanted to see how it would sound - and it sounded like the album version on steroids. That emotional raw delivery on point throughout. Then the fado stuff. Just beautiful. I found lots of the show deeply moving - the place nearly exploded when the Batukadeiras came out. I want the tour film to capture that feeling.

The only live CD’s I ever enjoyed of hers were IGTYAS and Confessions. Everything after that sounded like fake concert audios

Yeah I agree ref Demo Castellon and really hope she will go back to Warners  - moving to Live Nation might have a been a good move for touring but not for her recording career 

Yeah I've got a feeling about that too. If she collects her masters Warner gets a vastly reduced cut of any profits made from re-issues she may chose to do once she owns them. I think this may be a case where Madonna is willing to use her masters as leverage for a new deal. Maybe it was her and Guys plan from the start. She will no doubt be aware of every single Prince re-release. Guy knows how much the fans do his head in asking for legacy stuff. Why not use the label and resources these albums were born from but use them as a carrot for renogitiations against any forthcoming material. It's the savy business move. She must be aware of her commercial decline her career has suffered since moving away from them. Maybe the control she craved over single choices really came back to bite her in the ass with the MDNA project.
GMAYL - Girl Gone Wild - Turn Up The Radio - Masterpiece - Superstar is the worst singles run of her entire career. Like ...Mama...This was your chance. Come home now. 

Hard Candy was the beginning of Demo Castellon as mixing engineer, you can hear the difference between the Pharrell tracks mixed by Spike Stent, and the Timbaland/JT tracks mixed by Demo. He is not good. I understand William Orbit’s frustration with mixing MDNA.
 
Human Nature seems logical to release with the MXT dvd upcoming, I agree there’s been some market research happening, and like it or not, HN is the lone representative of the recent #1 album Bedtime Stories. lol. 


I have a feeling she’s going to go back to Warner, it’s just a hunch, but it just makes sense for both. She’ll get to be Homecoming Queen, and WB will have a full discography to market for her. 
And she can still make new music. 
I guess we’ll see if more songs get added. Either way, it’s a good thing.

Look, I'm kind of an all or nothing sort of person. M singing Papa Don't Preach on MX tour was pointless. Short. Same with MDNA. Short. I don't get it? The Express Yourself acapella section? WHYYYYY. 
My must haves aren't just songs. But I honestly wish she'd sing full songs. ESPECIALLY from her back catalogue.
I want bridges. I want bridges so badly. Express. Vogue... Open Your Heart... Into the Groove (now i know your miiiiiiiine)...PDP (what i need right now is some good advice, please...).... PLEASE!

My 3 are dependent upon what she's been doing. I think the best thing about a new Madonna concert is when she does songs she doesn't usually do.
If you guys can remember after Ray of Light she was always trash talking her earlier hits. I never thought I would hear some of these songs live again. Then she did MUSIC and the Drowned World Tour... and then came the Reinvention Tour and I heard those words.... "what are you looking AT!?"   VOGUE ... Finally!!!   To me that is what made it so special. To a lesser degree... Like a prayer and Hanky Panky which she hadn't done since 1990 and it would be my first time hearing those live. 
 
So as much as I love Vogue and Like a Prayer and Human Nature... they really need a rest for me to have a need to hear them live again. 
I would choose...

Perhaps that's how they've been able to get footage from others shows for the MDNA and RHT DVD's

I bet you they are....  as there is always b roll footage professionally recorded for the first 4 songs of any tour she has done, these are then released to media channels for publicity... I would imagine you maybe right for the older tours but in the modern age of digital I would bet there are complete recordings of nearly all her shows from recent tours...

I would assume so as there were a lot of clips in the DWT pre show 

It isn't a possibility but a reality. It has been confirmed 100% by a guy that works/worked for Nocturne. As I mentioned above. It is fact that all shows since WTG were recorded plus a soundboard.

They've all been "recorded" since the 1st WTG show - except if there was a technical issue we would not know have heard about or a show where the pro-shot cameras were not used (no screens) (RHT Macau for example had no screens and no cameras filming the show professionally - so no official video recording of those shows exists).
 
Whether or not anyone has kept all the recordings properly is another matter!
I suspect most if not all of them have actually been archived by Madonna.
 
Check out this statement from Michael Jackson's Estate a few years ago regarding how the pro-shot concert footage for every show on his 1988 Bad Tour was handled. The same company mentioned in the statement who filmed all his shows (Nocturne) filmed every Madonna concert from 1987 right through to I think Sticky & Sweet. It's fair to assume the same process was always in place (recordings of the screen footage for each show handed over to Madonna by Nocturne).

MDNA and RHT pro-shot footage for all shows was HD Video - so I assume all those were immediately stored to Hard Disk. We know from the MDNA DVD production process, that they accessed a ton of the screen footage from all the shows during editing and used lots of it (along with the specially filmed stuff from Miami and Paris).

Yes the company Nocturn records all Madonna shows, and have done since WTG. It has been confirmed by a guy who works for the company (through Jamesy at Madonna-tv) I think others have confirmed this too. The footage from the screens and a soundboard exists for all shows in a vault.
 
I think during WTG local stations brought their cameras, which is why we have that Texas footage. During BAT it was mostly screens footage that was given to local stations.
 
 
I don't think the full Houston show was ever broadcast on MTV. Does anyone have proof of this? I know Holiday and KIT were recorded by MTV on May 4th and shown during their live broadcast at the show on May 5th, plus the opening of the May 5th show was shown, but that is it. Apart from any sequences captured while Downtown Julie Brown and Kurt Loder were hosting nothing more pro-shot was shown.
 
Almost all opening night Euro/UK shows were shown on tv through news reports (generally first few songs). I have never seen Turin, but all other opening nights in each city had footage shown
 
The WTG Miami show had 4 songs recorded by MTV, not just the opening. Open Your Heart, Lucky Star, Causing a Commotion and The Look of Love.
