Madonna's "Imagine" Performance

What do you remember about Madonna performing John Lennon's "Imagine" for the Tsunami Aid Concert and how it made you feel, etc?

I'll never forget it. I didn't think at first that she could pull it off, but, wow, she did. It was so moving and so beautiful! Here's to coming together for mankind in the good and the bad. Here's to "the dreamers" and "living life in peace" too....

I  it. This rendition and the ‘Studio’ cd version. Not only do I love this mid-low tempo style from M, I tend to absolutely love any cover song that she does. She selects cover songs so well and the warmth and sincerity in her voice always comes through when she does covers. I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You, Sound of Silence... And this track fitted so well with AL themes and was a perfect counterpart for the chaos and war of AL song.
