This is how major Hollywood movies are made. The writer you start with is rarely the writer you end with... let alone the process of re-writes and 'notes' from the studio.
Brace yourself, there are going to be lots of changes and people in-and-out of the process, period.
Projects of this size take years as well, so some folks need to stop complaining about the timeline. You're not getting it anytime soon...and to get it right, we probably shouldn't be.

No one has said anything about Diablo. How can they fire someone who isn't working with her anymore? I-
The script is done and under pre-production. If anything, Universal may want to add an extra writter to retouch some points, which is usual in cinema.
That may be the reason behind her patriarchy post: her original view is being challenged and now she's looking for someone to rewritte sone stuff. That's all.

Blind items ans Crazy days and nights from which the screen cap comes from is a proven Trump supporting blog that has been exposed for writing BS by several publications. This is just a stretch from what Rosie said in that podcast (where shealso talks about therecording of This Used To Be My Playground BTW). It shows that these supposed insiders are not from Hollywood otherwise they'd Know that a regular movie script has many writers.

A big Hollywood movie goes through lots of changes, script included. Maybe she got Diablo to make a draft and now other writers will come in.
    No big drama.

VogueMusic reacted to Danton in Reflection on the AIDS years
I don't know why but I'm obsessed right now with the AIDS years and the late 80s / early 90s era. I just read kevin bentley's book " Wild animals i have known"  have you read it ?
I was a child at that time almost a teenager and I remember the awareness, the messages from preventions, we even gave a talk in college ... Madonna lost friends to AIDS, Martin Bourgoyne in 1987, Christopher Flynn and Keith Haring in 1990, she sang "In this life" about Martin and we don't really know who the song "Spanish eyes" is for. She was even the victim of rumors that she was sick with AIDS in the early 90s.
I imagine the fear of those who found out about this disease at an age when sex life began ... AIDS has always terrorized and impacted my own sexuality. Sex and danger are linked. "Gay cancer" as it was called naively evoked a kind of divine punishment linked to homosexuality that haunted me ... and inhibited me. The condom helped to cope but also reminded us that the danger was there. I wonder if Madonna could not have done more at that time. Like making an album around that rather than just a song (In this life). I hope that she will give pride of place to her lost friendships in her autobiographical film. I'm curious to see what a friend she was to Martin. And I find retrospectively paradoxical that she staged her sexuality in "SEX" at a time when the subject was rather AIDS. What memories do you have from those AIDS years? Do any of you suffer from it? Does your (sex) life still bear the stigma today ?
Listening to the album "like a prayer", and "Erotica" seeing the "Blond Ambition tour" inevitably plunges me back into this time both happy and sad
I remember Madonna saying in an interview in the early 90s that the greatest tragedy of the 20th century was AIDS ... maybe it's the second ... the worst for me is probably the holocaust. Well ...I'm going to go swallow a xanax lol

That's it I saw "it's a sin" and indeed it is poignant and well representative of the situation around AIDS in the 80s. What shocks me is to see how gay people today are homophobic with effeminate gays. While in the series there was no this kind of sectarianism when the mores were supposed to be less liberated. Another sad observation, the lack of interest in society and heterosexuals for homosexuals hit hard by the epidemic. A 100% fatal disease ... The feeling of fatality, you are gay you are a sinner and if you die it is normal and well done for you. It's revolting and it despairs me of humanity ... Today with the coronavirus which kills 0.3% of patients (and 90% of people at the end of their life) we have had 5 or 6 vaccines in one year .... While 40 years after AIDS, there is still no vaccine. Sad

I'm glad they touched on this. I've often seen the younger generation (usually on Twitter) who have grown up in different times not understand the importance of what Madonna did. Trying to drag her for "using" or "exploiting" the community for her own benefit.

Finally!!... this was the video that made me go woah in the late 90's since that time was over saturated with bubble gum pop videos. Hers was just top tier! It's mind boggling how this video is severely underrated. Was the concept and visuals too ahead of its time? Watching this now after over 20 years, it still has so much to offer to visually.

Listening to the entire Bedtime Stories album right now and I am falling in love all over again.  Honestly, it is my most overlooked Madonna album.  It's energy is completely different than the other 14 studio albums (I count Breathless) but the energy does not translate into weakness.  I used to think the album chronicled a broken heart but today it feels more like a falling in love vibe to me.    It is warm and sensual and flows well from beginning to end.  A full listen is like having the best romantic interlude ever.  So many gems in one treasure chest.  What a romantic genius Madonna is.  I miss 90's Madonna.

I love the MDNA Tour, I think its actually her largest in terms of cutting edge production and costs and her most ambitious since Blond Ambition. It is also one of her most physical-demanding shows of the 00s & 10s.

I agree with the poster above, we just need someone to re-edit the DVD with pro and fan live footage to eliminate the over-editing and give it a 'live' feel.

Sometimes folks just may happen to have a perspective on something that is, dare I say, positive or affirming in nature, or that finds value or worth in something. That's not a crime, nor a shortcoming.
I also find the "sycophant" argument flawed, and really a form of unnecessary name-calling...and if we are encouraged to not engage in such at various boards from one side, then why is it ok for others to do it from the other end? There are plenty of folks who seem to find fault in damn near anything she does, and I suppose I could spend all day calling them 'Bitter Bettes' or something like that, but I choose not to. Instead I make the choice to focus and give credit to the things I do like and that I believe are done well, and give rational, sane criticism where it is appropriate.
I think we need to be careful at going down this road that if people like something, for whatever reason (simple or complex, intellectual or purely emotional), or find some sort of positive value or worth in something (whatever that may be), that that immediately is seen as some sort of intellectual/critical weakness or shortcoming on their part as a fan is just sad, unfair, and simply not true. We are all capable of "walking and chewing gum at the same time". Again, some of us may make a conscious choice to focus on the things we do enjoy and find value in, even if they're not perfect by any means. We are also more than capable of doing that while giving constructive criticism too.

THANK YOU!!!  Finally, someone gets it.
The last four albums truly do have incredible music on them, and it's a real shame that so much of this work doesn't get the proper respect and credit it truly deserves, especially from some 'fans'. As someone who has consumed the pop music of the last 30 something years, and certainly seen what some of these acts of the last 10 to 15 years have put out, I will gladly take M's contemporary work any day over this other "stuff". Particularly from some of the obvious names previously mentioned in this thread, who, in my opinion, are nothing but derivative, glorified tribute acts to everything better that has come before in the last 30-something years. Thanks, but no thanks.
Not to mention her tours, that in the last decade are just as ambitious and artistically driven as they've ever been. I can't see any of these others continuing on as such, on that level, into their 40s, 50s, and 60s, while refusing to settle into nostalgia act territory. Let alone pulling back and reinventing once again in a theater format. Then there's her music video game that brought some of her strongest visual work she's done with just the last album alone. That doesn't touch on her tour visuals which are a work of art unto themselves. (Let alone conception, design, staging and choreography).
Sadly, I feel that she can't even catch a break with her own fanbase at times. And sadly, this 'third chapter' (and the incredible, unprecedented things it's bringing that you will NOT see from these others) won't truly be understood, nor appreciated, until many years from now. Such is life.
