The deluxe edition of Purple Rain with Prince was announced in April 2014, but not released until the summer of 2017.
And now they're releasing deluxe boxes of his classic albums almost every year.

I secretly hope they're saving the LAP remastered videos for the Super Deluxe Edition when (or if) it's finally released.
(Remember it was planned for 2019/2020).

In celebration of the single's 20th anniversary, Madonna and her team replaced the SD version of the music video, directed by Guy R*tchie, with a new HD remaster/upscale and this time, I shall be using the DVD single rip for a more justifiable comparison so big thanks to @lucerto for the high-quality rip of the music video! Apologies for the out of sync video and audio!
Right off the bat, something is off with the HD remaster, aside from the lack of film grain that the SD version has. It is only when I put them both side by side when THE HD VERSION FUCKING CROPPED THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE FRAME. I don't understand why they had to lose so much information at the top and bottom and it disappointed me so much. Another thing is that although the HD version looks good overall, I can't help but be annoyed by the way the AI software made the grandma's cheeks smooth. Not to mention, the debris at the end was minimized to only a few flying around due to the AI software or DNR thinking that it is film grain, in comparison to the SD version. Other than those, the HD version corrected some sort of a green and yellowish tint that the SD version has. (Look at the part where Madonna hot wired the pussycat car and the "Old Kuntz Guest Home" exterior.)
The HD version has more vivid colors, deeper contrasts and corrected how those powerlines would have that rainbow effect on it, which is visible on the late 90s to early 2000s music videos.
Overall, I am a little bit disappointed by the way the HD version cropped the top and bottom to present the music video in 16:9 aspect ratio but other than that, it is a good upgrade.

I totally agree with you. The remixes for both songs are amazing, but I love Calderone's remixes the most.

His mix has replaced the album version on my playlist for the Music album.
His mix of Don't Tell Me is also my favorite of the bunch.

No need to insult the collectors. I still would pay 30 dollars for a mix already available on streaming. Nothing like the joy of tracking down an old original promo vinyl or CD and giving it a spin.

The backstage of MXT is better left hidden, according to all the things that went wrong. Unless she wants to justify herself.
I also agree she shared the concert teaser but can also destroy it. Remember she trolls all the time... mixtape...
In a perfect world, we'd get a double disc with: 1 full concert + 2 doc.
But we all know she would never do that.

I'm absolutely opposed to the publication of a possible documentary. I want the whole show. Many fans have not had the opportunity to go to see it, both for restrictions due to the capacity of theaters and ticket costs, and for the countless cancellations. Also none of us have videos or memories due to the ban on using smartphones. It’s not fair! We suffered with her this tour and the greatest gift she has to do is publish it without cuts.

Mylene farmer might be famous only in France but she's often referred as the French Madonna. I don't really see why though... But she has a pretty cool discography too which is pretty normal when you sing for more than 30 years.
