Reggie Lucas is dead; she referred to Jellybean as her "shitty ex-boyfriend" in 2019, so surely she doesn't want him back in any way; she hasn't talked to Bray in ages; Shep Pettibone has been out of the music business for years...
Expecting the original producers and mixers to remaster/update her old albums is just... not realistic, except for Nile Rodgers with "Like A Virgin" or maybe William Orbit with "Ray Of Light" (and "MDNA" ). Stuart Price doing a Dolby Atmos version of "Confessions" could happen too.
She reunited with Stuart Price and Jose XTravaganza. Miracles happen.

I feel like with streaming some of the stats are either going to Celebration or the actual albums, not this one. 11X Platinum means 11 million, right?
1 million = platinum in the US

Loses the crowd?
The moment the music started, the crowd went crazy.
In I'm Going To Tell You a Secret she said that every time she sings a ballad, everyone in the audience goes to buy a hot dog. And she had this to say about performing "I'll Remember" and/or "This Used To Be My Playground" in the Madame X Tour:

Sorry but we already know that you don't like her ballads
I respect your opinion tho but i hope she performs her ballads
Bitch got ballads. A lot of my favorite M songs are ballads.
But she's said many times that she feels like she loses the crowd when she does a ballad. so I doubt we'll hear many :(

I think Music as an opener would be so good. Imagine all is dark and then at full volume the vocoder voice “hey Mr DJ…. Put a record on… I wanna dance with my baby”. I think people would go NUTS
I was thinking the same thing. "Music makes the people come together" is a great way to set the tone for a show about celebrating a successful musician's career.
And it's never been done at the beginning of a show before. And it was her last single to be #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in America, so it's very special in the catalog.

What I am confused about is the “2 notes” thing. People here are saying Music and Into the groove, but Music is 3 beats (dum dum… dum) and into the groove is 4 notes (da da… dee da…) so I’m not sure (or maybe I’m missing something?
to me an iconic 2 note intro should be something like Vogue (with the 2 very long notes from the immaculate collection)?
Yeah, you're right about "Music" and "Into The Groove". But a lot of people don't understand how music works and I think maybe Tony is one of them.

This is just record company greed and exploitation of fans. Record companies can no longer sell $20 CDs that feature 1 hit song, like in the 90's, so they keep reprinting vinyl albums in different colors.

I always wondered what the film reels contain - a master reel of the film, extras, b rolls etc. I know Miramax probably went through several changes, sales, different hands after Weinstein so I wonder who would own that now/if it exists.
It's lovely to see her going through her archives and seeing those legendary pieces again! The labels on the Truth or Dare boxes suggest its different versions of the film’s soundtrack (or the film itself) as it went through different phases of audio mixing. One mentions foley another mentions dubbing. Some are mono, some are stereo. They’re in 4-track format, whatever they is, and the Dolby logo is on all of them.
Usually with concert films, the audio mixing is done by the artist’s team, not the filmmaker’s team, right? I know Queen did the sound mixes for all their concert movies.

I think they still wouldn't have included the 7" mixes. I also think they were just kind of testing the waters with those in terms of reception. I think the singles were more well-received and also brought in more money.
Finally Enough Love covered only very few singles from the 80s. Most of the edits came from You Can Dance. Holiday has an alternate/new edit. Knowing her team though, they will add that shit to the Holiday single (if it isn't merged with Lucky Star) instead of the original mix.
Wait, what? The 7" version of Holiday on Finally Enough Love isn't the original 7" edit?

And I kinda have an inkling that Everybody also had the Q-sound treatment but discarded, basing the mix from the YCD mix. Then again, it's pure guessing.
I've also speculated that there's a Q-sound mix of "Causing a Commotion". It was included on Blond Ambition, Truth or Dare and the Holiday Collection. So clearly it was on somebody's mind in 1990/91.

My bet is he's still in the band. Other than Kevin, we haven't seen any of the band yet anyways, so who knows if it's all new, half new-half old, or all her established musicians. My guess is it's still mostly her core band that's been with her for the past couple decades.
He is touring as guitarist in Ministry at the same time as the Celebration Tour. I think he’s not with Madonna anymore.

Yes she can. She physically can, with the correct sound set up - but she chooses not to and unfortunately ends up pretty off key regularly.
She’s of course more than capable of singing beautifully live - the 2019 sound of silence performance haas some gorgeous moments. The capability is there, irs purely down to choice. Sodade is a good example of her singing live without a backing track and singing well.
Madonna doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would deliberately choose to do something badly.

Wow she really doesn’t want the Madame X era to end does she.?!
Yeah the new albums aren't coming as often, so they have to stretch out each era for as long as possible.

Why can’t she sing like THAT in the concerts?
Singing on stage is a little harder because it's so loud up there. And she's always dancing too.

She’s going to do Leonard Cohen’s “hallelujah”.

I wonder if Mercy will show off her piano skills on this tour?
David’s playing guitar in at least one of her social media posts. He’s the only one of her children, I think, that will also be a star.

The Queens mashup of Vogue/Break my soul would be epic on the Celebration tour. Amazing idea. Of course it would be a new mix with more Vogue.
I’m really, really hoping for a Can’t Stop/Don’t Stop medley, or a Forbidden Love/Forbidden Love mashup. But I’m not holding my breath.
Hell, I’d even settle for a Material Girl/Who’s That Girl/Bad Girl/Mer Girl/What It Feels Like For a Girl/Girl Gone Wild medley.
But I bet we just get a Burning Up/Dress You Up/Hung Up medley instead. Sigh.

I saw a headline on social media that said she’s planning on wearing the Blond Ambition gold cone bra. But who knows.
Immaculate Collection in Dolby Atmos!
