  1. I don't mind her doing the Frozen remix for the Tik Tok twinks. I just wish she doesn't do the same songs she does all the time when she has like 30 gay anthems in her catalogue.

If I'm allowed to dream, I'd like her to do something like:

    - Frozen (Remix, full version)
    - Deeper and Deeper
    - Open Your Heart
    - Into the Groove
    - Live to Tell or Ghosttown (with an M speech before considering how everything's gone to hell again LGBTQ+ rights-wise)
    - Hung Up (the thing last year didn't count)

A short set because I don't expect her to put on a full MDNA Tour-scale production for a free event.

I'd love to hear her comments regarding all the tracks for all albums. Love when she talks about her music

me too, but i think they'd need to catch her in a really good day lest we get comments like:

"like a virgin. that's a dumb song. i didn't write it. made me a lot of money and fame though, so i guess i can't complain. but i'm sick of performing it for the past forty years"

"bad girl, what the fuck is that? oh, right. completely forgot that existed. nothing to say, really. was that for a movie? when are we getting to candy shop?"

  3. I genuinely think people are putting too much faith in her biopic. Madonna hasn't made one well-received movie and she 100% has too big of an ego to be able to approach the story of her life in any hint of objectivity.

I don't want it to fail, but I'm not holding my breath for it being good or bringing about any sort of renaissance for her.

Also, just because someone has a biopic out, it doesn't guarantee that it will be a hit.

I'm not trying to bring anyone down, I just think we should manage our expectations here a bit.

I'm just glad that the movie is likely responsible for her finally taking action and paying attention to her back catalogue and giving us all this stuff we should've had already years ago.

I wonder if these music videos, the master reels have the capability of becoming true widescreen

Depends on how they were filmed and finished (very unlikely they added vfx and edited it in widescreen when they had no reason to do that back then) and if it was blocked with for 16:9 safety in mind in the first place.

This video explains a lot about why changing old 4:3 stuff to 16:9 has to be done very carefully (when possible at all):

  5. 1. Give Me All Your Luvin' (LMFAO Party Rock Re-Remix w/o Madonna vocals)

    2. Superstar (Album Version)

    3. Turn Up the Radio (Instrumental)

    4. Superstar (Eddie Amador Remix)

    5. Bitch I'm Madonna (Extra Auto-tuned Super Extended Version)

    6. Superstar (Eddie Amador Dub)

    7. Auto-Tune Baby (Baby Vocals Version)

    8. B-Day Song (Extended 15-minute Version) [feat. The Minions]

    9. S.E.X. (I've Seen It All Before Diplo Remix)

    10. Bitch Turn Up All Your Auto-Tune Superstar Song Medley (Remixed by Kevin Antunes)

  6. I wonder if instead of these random HD upscales that sometimes happen due to anniversaries, sometimes not, if they instead focused on an era or a cycle like Alanis' team did by going back to the original film negatives of the JLP videos and remastering them in 4k to coincide with a new commemorative edition of that era (in M's case e.g. 2021 - True Blue 35th anniversary), Warner and whoever from M's team could be convinced to spend the money to actually do this right and we could finally have her catalogue taken care of as well as it deserves to be.

I do like the color correction in the MG video a lot, though.

  7. I'm genuinely curious - where does the idea Madonna fans don't like to stream comes from?

Also, re: the deluxe editions thing - Madonna's proven time and time again that she does not care about preserving her legacy; and neither did Warner once she left them, I'm still (pleasantly) shocked and confused about all these maxi-singles and HD video remasters we got last year, I have to assume some homosexual at Warner stole some master tapes and took it upon himself with no warning to Guy and M.

  8. I think I'll take any declarations she's made about which songs she likes or dislikes with a grain of salt, especially when some seem to be coming from interviews over 20 years ago.

Also, like all of us, she's allowed to change her mind, and like every artist, she knows she'll have to include a few crowd-pleasers to sell those tickets because it's her literal job to perform her own music.

And when she decides to throw in a song she has spoken of unfavorably in the past on a setlist, she finds a way to make it fresh for her so she can have some fun (e.g. LAV in The MDNA Tour, Material Girl in the RHT with her big wide grin and self-aware jokes).

(Also, wasn't Rain rehearsed for Madame X...?)
