Can we put the "truly" comments in their own thread. They are beyond annoying. Which I assume is the point.

I love this. I can image her doing this

I like this concept of having elements of her other songs sprinkled throughout the show like various lyrics and phrases ("today is the last day that I'm using words", WIFLAG spoken intro, etc) mixed in with other songs

A 120 song medley would be perfect , 1 minute per song

I think Music as an opener would be so good. Imagine all is dark and then at full volume the vocoder voice “hey Mr DJ…. Put a record on… I wanna dance with my baby”. I think people would go NUTS

I'd say I'm 99% sure, he directed her pride show, and he's posted a lot about this tour on his instagram, also his profile reads "Musical Director @madonna" - it's happening 
I don't think he's all that bad, it's always a great. It just means I don't listen back to the live albums as it's mostly just the album version with some autotune and a crowd noise. I listen to Drowned World, ReInvention and Confessions all the time, I'd say some of those productions sound superior to the album versions

I'd love Stuart Price or Steve Anderson for sure.  Kevin is pretty good but M will be deciding on the sound as well.

Why are we pitting Taylor against Madonna?
They aren't in competition. There is no gold metal at the end of this "race." Your "team" isn't going to win or lose. This isn't the Olympics.
You can like both. YES - you can like both.
You can also like one. Or the other. Or neither.
But for the purpose of this thread can we get back to MADONNA'S CELEBRATION TOUR ?

Sometimes, fans can come up with better things then her own team.  Thanks for sharing.

First of all I wanted to say that if this post doesn't belong here, please feel free to move it to wherever it should be.

I wanted to show you a project I made last year, in light of what I saw posted here by other user showing his Immaculate Collection 30th anniversary box (which is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G).
I wanted to make something especial and never before seen from her, so I chose the vinyl format and added som personal touches to the artwork. I know vinyl is not the perfect choice for some, but I really like the big covers hahahaha
In the extras, I put some studio demos and rehearsals, and something I'd love to happen: a conversation between Madonna and Stuart over the creative process, the selection of songs and everything else.

I admire so much "M / M Paris" studio - Their work is amazing. 
In the "American Life" album cover - I think that Madonna wanted something with a "political poster" vibe,  very eye catching, with few colors.
I think that the photoshoot was amazing - Not a big fan of using guns to give a "peacefull" message (Personal apreciation nothing more)
I Guess that it was very brave to express what she did on that album, but we have  only 3 "Protest" kinda songs "American Life", "Hollywood" and "I'm So Stupid",  the rest of the songs are more introspective. Not to foget that the majority of songs has "negative words" all over, Nothing / Nobody - 
In this particular case, I would had named the album in other way, to have a title that encapsulates more the whole concept,  something like : MindTrappa - Nobody Knows Me - remember she wanted it to be named "EIN SOF" (that means "endelss") - 

After all it's still an incredible album

 

I have to agree that, while I loved the cover, the booklet was a disappointment for me at the time too. I didn't love the letters thing and the lack of lyrics now we're used to it, but back then was not cool and an adjustment.
But I appreciate the artwork a lot more now.
