So proud of Madonna and still being at the top of this list. It says a lot about her legendary status imo...

Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Madonna & More Make Forbes' Richest Self-Made Women List

Forbes compiled its annual list of America's richest self-made entrepreneurs, and a number of music superstars made the cut.

Coming in at number 33 is Rihanna, who made the list for the first time with a net worth of $600 million, calculated using stock prices from September 11, 2020. According to Forbes, her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty had over $600 million in sales in 2019, while her Savage x Fenty lingerie line raised $50 million from investors. Lastly, RiRi's charitable Clara Lionel Foundation raised $22.5 million for COVID-19 relief.

Other female musicians on the list included Madonna ($550 million), Celine Dion ($455 million), Beyoncé ($420 million), Barbra Streisand ($400 million), Taylor Swift ($365 million), Lady Gaga ($150 million) and Jennifer Lopez ($150 million).

That’s a weird/conservative estimation of her net worth, no? I don’t think it adds up. Considering she’s sold over 300 million albums, had tour grosses of over 1.2 billion, invested in different products and companies, collaborated with brands, etc... Unless Guy Ritchie and WE took a lot away from her, I’m not sure it’s a fair estimate. Thoughts?

Guys, that number is her networth, not the money she has gained in total over the last 40 years.

Networth means real estate + actions/stocks/shares + companies + vehicles/art/liquid assets + money in the bank, all under her own name. Of course she's made way more money than that with album sales, tours and merchadising, but most of that money/profit has gone to paying all the people around her, from the personal assistants to the manufacturers.

Trust me, half a BILLION is a HUGE networth to have.
