I can understand in Celebration the whole wall tribute to Michael Jackson was a scene that doesn't stress Madonna physically....  but the clips in the background made it seems like they were practically lovers when I don't think MJ thought fondly of Madonna.

I understand why it's in the tour, but I sat down and gave my legs a break while that was playing last Wednesday because I knew it was coming While we were walking back to our hotel in October, my sister said she didn't know M & MJ, were an item. I had to explain they weren't and I didn't know why it was portrayed that way, lol.

Seeing the tribute in person hits different. The whole arena was cheering and you could feel that many got emotional, myself included. 

It was also a good opportunity for her to take a break.

Could you be anymore judgmental?  And yes, Madonna is a huge "opportunist".  She knows when to seize a moment if not create one to benefit from it.  This has nothing to do with being "a perfect fan".  What a ridiculous assumption to make.
