  1. The original Frozen song and video are getting more streams than ever. No other artist from her generation is doing it like M, she's the most interesting one among her peers.
This a success for Madonna and a good start for the next step of her career, which seems to be all about her finally rediscovering her back catalogue and legacy.

Mariah is doing almost the exact same thing as we speak with Latto and their number one song on iTunes.

Is there something wrong with you? Have you seen her streaming figures. The public are talking about her again, the youth are discovering her music. Are you even a Madonna fan, all you do is slag her off with ridiculous comments.
I've said this before; it's just a fucking remix. The original version and video haven't disappeared. I wish you would though.

Re-read your post. You come across as quite the a-hole.

  3. Here's an idea, Madonna -
Just pick one of the features you commissioned for the remix and put your energy and budget into that song and video.
Two releases based on the same track is confusing and diluting.
    Quality over quantity.
Or come up with one 3-4 minute version that features both of them and call it a day?!
M looks pretty across the two videos but it's all a bit messy and anemic for my liking.

  4. I *partly* agree with the OP.

Sex was inspired by the success of the Justify My Love video’s monetization, and external publishing offers to write erotic fiction thanks to Justify My Love, the song (which she did not songwrite, funnily enough!). It could also be judged as an opportunistic money-grab to ensure Maverick’s success as a new business venture.

Having said that, there is *nothing* she needs to apologize for. It’s a stunning piece of commercial art.

  5. I'm younger than 30 and I traveled from Peru to France just to see her on Madame X, spending my birthday on a plane and crying like an idiot for her whole show.
My boyfriend is under 30 too and he cares about her. My best friend is even younger than me (and str8), and he also says good things about her.
I care about her, I’ve been her fan even before I hit 20. In fact, I started getting interested in Madonna with Confessions when I was 12 and things just got more and more intense with time.
Y’all have no idea how happy I am to see her growing on Spotify and streaming overall. ?

    This is cool to hear.

To me, it is obvious she has been very unhappy and out of touch for some time now, the bitchy behavior, sex toy boyfriends, living isolated with just a circle of useless handlers and the drinking are all results of unhappiness. I think the divorce damaged her more than people realize, she did not take it easily. What is more is that she is fully aware her career is in decline. In the past, even when there was shit going on in her personal life, she still had a massive career to keep her motivated and strong. I think its important to remember that behind the strong as iron persona, Madonna is still just a person like anyone else. At least her children seem to bring her genuine happiness. I think that another album or big tour would go a long way in getting her motivated again

Divorce, not being at the top of the charts, mortality and hip surgery are all contributing factors, I'd presume.

  7. (reports filtering from within her close circle are not very good about it but NDA's and it's been almost a decade now...around W.E. still according to reports from within her circle.Talking about it among us won't change anything, closing our eyes won't either but it's not just her having fun now)

I get that NDAs expire after a decade (in LA, right?) but can you clarify the rest please?
  8. It's interesting how many users here acquaint alcohol use with a "glam" and "youthful" life. These are clearly people who haven't been impacted by alcoholism firsthand, and there's a lot of naïveté here about what does and doesn't constitute signs of a problem with alcohol. Alcohol is an odd drug in this world -- It's more dangerous than many illegal substances, and yet it's one that's overtly celebrated by many cultures...that is, if it doesn't ruin your life.
No one becomes an alcoholic overnight. If they did, then it would be much easier to avoid. Fans including myself are expressing concern because it's becoming increasingly regular with her that alcohol is present, and yes, there ARE a lot of other signs that correlate with alcohol use...weight gain, the look in her eyes, the way she speaks (no it's not just the grillz), etc. Is it definitively to blame for these signs? Not necessarily. But she when this is the image she chooses to portray to the world, it's to the right of fans to question it.
She's been acting odd the last few years. The group of objective fans on this board are able to see this. Does it mean we don't still love her? Absolutely not. But something is odd about her behavior nowadays, and given how much she freely celebrates alcohol, makes jokes about cocaine and opioids, and smokes weed on film, it all seems a bit suspect, no?
Expressing concern about her doesn't detract from her accomplishments, question her right to defy age standards, or minimize the work she outputs today. On the contrary, I'd hope that other fans would see it as a sign of care for their idol and really don't understand how so many fans here can twist this into some form of vilifying her.

    Well said. Thank you.
