and then what happens if we dont get an expanded release this year - are people finally going to take notice of our frustration here . why has her team and kevin gore been so silent about all this ??? are they focusing on the prince re-issues now ? not that i would complain - his box sets have been amazing and i wish/hope M is planning something like this - im not taking notice of any anniversaries now or thinking FEL was a surprise and amazing treat - a lot of it was poorly mastered too which some people have also forgotten (Love profusion being the worst on that )

There seems to be 2 kinds of fans of this campaign - ones who are happy with any scraps she gives us( same old tired vinyl repacked and repackaged - ONE compilation of stuff we have had for decades ) then fans like me who want something unreleased from her archives which mean a surprise - something not seen or heard befure and put in a nice box set - I don’t know why that’s so hard for people on here to swallow or see our frustration? Maybe it’s a generation thing …

Yes but we’ve seen so many anniversaries come and go now with nothing substantial released - I think people need to forget this emphasis on “ anniversaries “ now - it’s tiresome -

Sorry but I don’t see how that is the same thing - that’s stuff that’s already been released and nothing special if you ask me - MX tour was not thought very high of and the celebration album is mostly looked down on too due to poor mastering - again just lazy cash grab releases but I’m sure I will be shot down 🙄

The thing that’s even more frustrating is the total silence here from her team - no interviews from anyone on what they are doing or have planned - that surprises me seeing as M is so vocal about everything else going on in her creative life - makes me wonder if the whole deal is either cancelled or she’s simply changed her mind about the expanded releases - maybe it’s just going to be these tired digital releases which basically requires zero input from her - I can’t imagine she has to approve the digital maxi pictures 😔

FFS why on earth would they put CFU single on streaming - there are no other versions apart from the album version - it makes no sense at all plus the b-side wasnt even a Madonna track - please move on from this guys ...

Confessions era did pretty good with that consistency and so Music era.
I hated the confessions singles artwork especially jump. AL also had pretty bad ones too - I loved the LAP singles the most including Dear Jessie too ( even though that pic is from ‘87 )

I would love her to re record borderline and use the same production she used on the Jimmy Fallon appearance- that was such a great rendition imo - I think it’s similar to the tears of a clown version too

I’m very happy if it’s parade - love that album way more than D&P which I didn’t buy in the end - parade will hopefully include the full concert we only have in VHS quality plus those wonderful mixes of mountains and another lover hole yo head finally in digital 🥰

true but most fans will buy any crap M releases - especially the vinyl and hologram sleeves which always baffles me - the same stuff just repackaged on pretty colour vinyls is not for me - give me unreleased songs, full digital mixes and some live stuff - i have given up on her videography ever having a proper remastering from the film reels :(

We really don’t need another purple rain reissue - iM a huge Prince fan and that album has had 2 releases already - they need to focus on his other 80s albums 😔

People on here seem to also forget this campaign has mostly been for vinyl lovers too so in my mind it’s not catering to all fans - don’t see why some of these couldn’t have been released on cd too - surely it’s cheaper
