Innocent/possibly stupid question, may have been addressed elsewhere (apologies if so)... I listened to Calderone & Quayle "Glam" Remix of Hollywood for the first time in ages on the train this morning after loving the edit on Finally Enough Love.... is the FEL Edit for another remix version/title or exclusive to the edit? In my opinion they are very different with similar elements, I really enjoy the FEL version.

Yeah the "Calderone & Quayle Edit" is actually a different mix, instead of just an edit of "Calderone & Quayle Glam Mix". It was originally included on this promo CD: https://www.discogs.com/release/216223-Madonna-Hollywood

It's the same situation with "Beautiful Stranger (Calderone Radio Mix)" and "Beautiful Stranger (Calderone Club Mix)".

  2. Thanks for sharing!

I made a quick and rough comparison to what has been leaked, and found out in the 04/07/06 file, during first verse of Forbidden Love, she sings the right lyrics "was like a certain kind of torture" as opposed to mixed up lyrics "was all I needed to be certain" in the file we already have (which is 3/25/06, I believe). And she sings this line with a different phrasing in the 5/10/06 rehearsal, too.

SO I think that some parts of the 04/07/06 file is genuine and has never been leaked before. The 04/21/06 file sounds totally fake to me, which is already leaked files mixed together.

What's the point of a speed up or slow down version? It's like being in 2000 again playing with media player. Next week a reversed version.

I used to think people were lazy when they put out an Instrumental as track 2 (and god knows I loooove Instrumental more than everything but let's be honest, it's easy to make. ) but this is a whole new level of feeding people with sh*t.

Otherwise I'm glad this demo is finally out to the world 😁

I don't get the point of sped up version or slowed down version either. But it seems that people nowadays (on tiktok) are really into this kind of songs. Some artists now even put out sped up or slowed down versions separately as singles.

I can understand if they are used for a tiktok video, but listening to them on a daily basis is weird to me. I think these versions kind of ruin the original music and how the song is supposed to sound. Gaga's recent hit "Bloody Mary" is another example of this.

The main difference to me is that additional bass drum beat at :31.6 seconds, also different at 1:38.2 and 1:48 and especially 3:01.7 (my favorite) and 4:24.4. Probably happens in other more subtle places too.

Gives it a little extra '90s tribal' bump/hump. I've always put it in the place of album version in playlists idk

Wow I just realized the officially released "Album Instrumental" is actually the "Full 7" Mix Instrumental".

It's got that extra bumping beat all over it, and the extra hitting sound between the second chorus and the bridge, just like the 7" Edit.
