  1. Another random question: Im sure its been discussed before, but what beautiful classical piece was M’s daughter playing before she sang “Bad Girl”. They both did great…but listening to that beautiful piano piece reminded me so much of my piano lessons growing up, learning all those wonderful songs!

@True Blue 84 I can’t thank you enough for those videos you posted. Excellent quality. We had good seats but I was more to the right side of the stadium

Saw the show for the first time in Philly last night and WOW. It was so incredible. I’ve been reading along here with you guys, but haven’t watched any videos cause I wanted some surprises. I truly loved this show 🥹

Bob took the stage at 10pm on the dot, she did Express Yourself and Rain. Kevin Jz Prodigy was the guest and David did a verse in Mother & Father. I thought the energy seemed high, though a few times she was doing that “come on, is that all you got?!” kinda thing, so I wonder if it felt a little low compared to MSG hahaha.

She genuinely seemed to be enjoying herself. Lots of interactions with the crowd and smiling and overall euphoria. I particularly loved Open Your Heart, Bad Girl, Hung Up, Ray Of Light.. the transition from Human Nature to Crazy For You is so jarring, almost felt like a mistake haha. I know everyone says the ending is abrupt, but I guess it didn’t bother me because I had scene all the complaints- felt like a proper finale to me! Overall I genuinely loved it, am still on such a high, and now can’t wait for the recording of this show!

Took the words right out of my mouth. It was such an incredible show

  3. Great show. Just….wow. No words. “Live to Tell” was to me the best performance of the night. She sounded amazing and she sang it with so much emotion…it was so powerful. I didnt take as much pictures as I did videos but it was definitely a show I’ll never forget.

Also stupid question: I spent that whole damn show trying to figure out how her hair actually looked because those wigs she had on for each different “act” were great, but I was just wondering 😂😂😂😂

    We love you!!!!!

awww 🥰 I haven’t posted in like 60 years. I just became a lurker lol. Thought I was forgotten 🤣  Didn’t even realize I posted tirades like that either @Anapausis!!!!

ANYWAYS: I’m seeing Madonna in three days in Philly so yay to that. I really can’t say much about this lawsuit that already hasn’t been stated previously. The math ain’t mathing. These two queens already saw her three times before even making a big deal out of this just to sue for false advertisement a month later…wtf? I know so many fans want Madonna to be on time for her shows. And as great as that would be, its not happening. Get over it.

Anyone remember that quote she made twelve years back before the superbowl?

So start saving your pennies now," she said. "People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I'm worth it."

I don’t care how late she is. Shes worth it everytime and those two suckers know it!

I don’t really feel she was rebelling… just look at pop culture at the time. Cable TV was ushering in all sorts of erotic material. Cinemax was nicknamed Skinnimax because of it. HBO had Taxi Cab Confessions and Real Sex. Playboy Channel.  Drew Barrymore was seducing older men in Poison Ivy, Sharon Stone flashing her kitty in Basic Instinct. People basically went to see that movie JUST to see her vagina. I can see why Madonna was so blindsided by the backlash. Everybody else was allowed to be sexual BUT her.

Madonna wasn't rebelling, she was just absorbing her surroundings as usual.

That's not true, shes always been sexual.  The justify my love video, the crap film, the book, and the erotica album all happened at the same time and they all got lumped together. During this whole period people tired of her and she came across as desperate to shock, it basically got boring which is why people turned on her.  And if you read her letter she wrote about Whitney Houston and Sharon Stone, you'll get a sense of how she was feeling

I don't know where I stand with the sex book tbh. Some might disagree with my statement below but I welcome constructive criticism!

I believe she was acting out, rebelling, angry. In time, even she would hint that she went overboard to the point that it became distraction to her music, and people's perception of it, and her. She could have told us all day about how she didn't care what people thought, but I think she did. She has always been a narcissist (in a self absorbed way) but it was clearly out of control during this time.

Did Whitney shade Madonna in the 80s saying she would rather k*ll her kid than end up like Madonna or something like that? Does anyone have a source of that?

Ha ha! I dont think she said that. But it's funny bc didnt Madonna say the same thing about Mariah Carey in the 90s?
