I did not know that. Generally, I have never been interested in finding out who is behind Madonna's albums or any other artist. I have never been interested in knowing who the musicians are, the backup singers, the one who does the mixing, the  writers, etc. Simply knowing who the producer is was more than enough for me. That's why I didn't know that Madonna was also the writer of her own songs. However, I still think that she should better hire a qualified composer and improve in that aspect. Of course, if she wants it. It's just my opinion as a fan.

This makes absolutely no sense at all lol

  2. I'm extremely happy that the Mexico dates were moved too.

I have tickets for NYC on January 29 (previously August 26) and Mexico City on April 24 (previously January 30, the last show on the itinerary). Kinda funny that now I'm seeing her in NYC one day before I was supposed to see her in Mexico, and that I'm still seeing the very last show in Mexico, as originally planned  If the rumors of filming the show in Mexico turn out to be true, it would be mind blowing for me :fire:

Did we see Taylor Swift’s tour announcement this morning, The Eras Tour: “a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!)”

Damnit, I really would love something like this from M! Hopefully that’s we are getting this time around… she always keeps us guessing though 😂

she already did that with Drowned World Tour.

I think the setlist and how the songs were brought to life made for a beautifully dark show. There's nothing I would add or subtract from it. Even the WIFLFAG interlude had a purpose which flowed with the story. The fact that You'll See was only performed a couple of time made it all the more special. The intro at the start of the show is perhaps my favourite, I love how it blends excerpts from a handful of songs together with William Orbit peices. Human Nature is reallu impressive here, as is La Isla Bonita. Music and Holiday are so energetic. It's just a perfect show and a great way to showcase her talent after such a long time away from touring.

    Yes to everything. :05:

  5. It's perfection.

This was when Madonna really hated her back catalogue. Since ROL she was avoiding everything 80s-related. She mentioned a few times (paraphrasing) that she just could perform Material Girl or Like A Virgin because she was not that person anymore. I think this ended around American Life, when she did the acoustic versions of Like a Virgin and Like a Prayer.

I think the demand for the first Madonna tour in 8 years was huge. She knew it would sold out and people were dying to see her. So, she took advantage of that and did whatever the fuck she wanted with the setlist, and I fucking love her for that.

I have no choice but to stand the fact that she performed The Funny Song instead of a hit  And I'm sorry, and maybe it's because I'm latino little faggy boy myself, but I LOVE Lo Que Siente La Mujer, and that arrangement with Calderone's mix, still gives me goosebumps.

    BUT...

Nothing Really Matters should've been in the Geisha section and You'll See should've been part of the setlist since day one.

  6. I love love LOVE when Madonna wears a hoodie.

I'm also surprised that she's wearing something from Rick and Morty. I love this show, but it's 100% stoner culture. It's not a kids show at all.

I wonder if she's more into weed or "grass" (lol) nowadays. Maybe the new bf is a stoner? NOT JUDGING AT ALL considering it's 8:43am over here and I already had a few puffs myself  :smke:  I know she's mentioned weed lots of time throughout her career, but recently it's like she's actually showing that... maybe she likes it? lol. It's like "goes to Jamaica once" and she's now Snoopdonna... WHICH I LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I really don’t think her social media presence is taking away her legend status. You can’t erase history.

Thank you. People are always looking for something to blame. First Warner, then Guy O, then Interscope, and after about a billion threads about her hair and her ass, people are now blaming her social media.

"Oh because of the bathtub video Levitating won't be number 1" :Madonna007:

Those REALLY stupid "social media rules" and how to behave on social media or what to post or what to be left unsaid, that shit applies to garbage like Jeffrey Star, James Charles, Shane Dawson, and even the queens from Drag Race... These people would be NOTHING without social media. That would not be the case for Madonna. FUCKING MADONNA. Please don't put her in the same box as those nobodies.

always playing the same kind of music and dancing to it and M is there just like she has no choice about the music and try to act like she having fun too.

    :ahh:

OMG I'm sorry, but I just can't picture Madonna in such a stupid scenario where she feels like a victim because of the music playing at her own party.

These threads about NOTHING man, lol, a hot mess.... but then again, people LOVE to start pointless threads about her hair color, her butt, her cheeks...... now I guess we're starting threads so we can guess how sad or how happy M is at her own parties. LOLLLLLLL.

  9. Sex: M

    Country: Costa Rica

    1. When did you become a madonna fan? 1997

    2. Do you have all her albums in CD or Vinyl?, if you don't, ¿Which Ones? Every album on CD, every album on LP, about 60 CD singles and just ten 12" singles :)

    3. Do you listen M's music everyday of the weekend? ¿just the half of the week?, ¿hardly ever? I listen to Madonna every single day, at least a playlist or an album or a live recording or a demo collection or whatever.

    4. Which decade of her carrer do you consider the most interesting or the one you like the most? If we're going by decades, i think the 90s were out of this world for her career.

    5. Name your favourite album: Ray Of Light

    6. Name your favourite tour: MDNA Tour

    7. Favourite ballad: Live To Tell

    8. Favourite album cover: True Blue

    9. order from more to less used the device through which you listen to her music:
    Computer/iPad
    Vinyl
    CD

    10. Do you think Madonna will make a new tour?, when? I hope so!!! I couldn't catch the MX Tour because she announced everything during my last day of a 22-day vacation, so of course, I had zero money to see her :)

    11. Apart from Madonna, are you a fan of any other artist / band? Björk, Massive Attack, Marilyn Manson and I guess RuPaul lol (music/franchise)

    12. How do you want Madonna's next album to be? POP/DANCE

  10. I think it would have been cool to have a simultaneous release with Die Another Day. To this day, it still bugs so much hat there are no new songs on GHV2, so Die Another Day would be the new song. Can you imagine the sales of that? ... I'm aware that most likely it would've been impossible because of MGM and the James Bond Franchise/Deal, and that maybe American Life needed DAD more, but since this is all a fantasy, I don't care :)

I decided to include NRM over TPOG because GOD, it needed another dance song. YMLM instead of DCFMA. Just 3 from STR, because since there is already a ballad compilation, we don't need a huge segments of ballads in this one.
