I am 6'2" and wear size Medium everything but after hearing the bomber jacket runs small, I think I'm going to order both Large and XL. Keep the one that fits best and return the other. Looks like returns should be pretty simple.

It was reported by Caresse that after the AL video backlash they changed strategy with the release of R&R, to tone down her image and highlight her legendary status. The ads for RIT were teasing classics like Vogue, LAP, music, ITG so I'd say they definitely wanted to focus on her legendary body of work more than AL. But it still had plenty of AL in its setlist for sure, but it was also her most hits heavy tour to date and still is (maybe together with RH)

I completely agree with you. It was incredible at the time. She was acknowledging older songs in the AL promo tours too, so I don't think it was a rescue stratergy for AL. Reinvention was just the first time she fully embraced her body of work in my opinion and it was amazing as a fan.  I think artisically it was probably a natural progression following the video montages that were used in Music performances and the reaction at DWT to holiday.  I disagree with the phrase damage control as her career is always changing and reflecting. My point here was that Erotica was not subjected to 'damage control'. If anything the follow up single I'll Remember and the Bedtime Stories was a reaction to Erotica. Not the single choices from Erotica nor the tour content of Girlie Show. 

I don't really see her performing Vogue on RIT as "damage control".  The whole tour may have been promoted and to include some huge hits to soften her image after American Life, but she still performed a good number of her songs from American Life like any other tour she's done when touring off her recent release.  I never felt she was trying to avoid performing Vogue at that point in her career either.  But we have to be realistic here. Madonna's mainstream success plays a huge role in her popularity, so no matter how tired she gets of her older songs, she knows those are the songs that most people want to hear.  But again, Re-Invention still featured a good dose of her American Life album.  But it definitely was a tour, that she was able to balance out the AL songs with a lot of other previous big hits as well.

Madonna turns 65 in just a few hours... a very special birthday considering what happened just a few weeks ago and that she's celebrating 40 years in the music business this year.
She's still here, she's still rocking (enjoying her first worldwide hit in more than a decade at 64/65 with "Popular" and about to start her new tour) and that's pretty much a good reason to be happy and celebrate her.

I'm sure she is fine but tabloids will milk this and over dramatize speculating on her health even further for clicks and attention. Don't believe anything you see online, remember tabloids are never accurate and just need attention. Literally no one said she fainted and was intubated but oc these assholes will play this card for clicks.

But I wouldn’t consider the I Want You video canned. It got lots of airplay and was used to promote the album. Just the single release got canned.

As an OLD gay (52) who has been there since the beginning… I find this track to simply be so CLASSIC Madonna.  
Very over the top, ballsy, and very much NOW,  
Sure, it’s not a classic sound for her — but none of her songs ever is upon release,  That so many still fail to grasp this amuses me as much as it depresses me.
It’s fun. It’s a banger. And it makes me wanna dance.

ROL really allowed Madonna to have a second imperial phase and it´s consireded but most of critics and many fans her magnus opus, and it´s a gem of an album in every sense, a timeless gem who changed the pop world.
