Voici en exclu le 1er nom des réalisateurs du prochain clip de Madonna : Ssion. Ce n'est peut être pas eux qui seront choisi mais ce qui est sur c'est qu'ils ont répondu sans nul doute à l'appel d'offre. Ils ont réaliser dernièrement le clip de Kylie Minogue, Sexercize, et on également fait un clip pour le groupe Gossip dans le passé.

I LOVED the Sexercize video!  The song itself wasn't the strongest but the video made it such a memorable number.  Also Kylie looked so hot in the video so I'd be ALL about SSION directing Madonna's new video!

So with all of these reviews by drownedmadonna & madonnarama of the demos from the album....exactly how are they hearing them & how are they not leaking?  This is what i ask myself every time they report on the demos.

Alicia Keys confirmed that she will be part of Madonna new album, but she is only playing some piano on a Madonna new track. According to DM, it is very likely that the track is Hold Tight, a great track that Madonna did with Diplo and would be a perfect choice as the leading single.

What was it like working with Madonna on her new album?It was good. I was in here doing a meeting or something and she was working with Diplo. They were like, “Oh, maybe you can play some piano on this thing.†And I was like, “Alright. I’ll try. If you hate it you can take it off.†It was just like that, casual and cool.

^ Not only does M seem to be taking her time on the new album but she seems more open to spontaneity. I think that spontaneity bodes well. It sounds like a much more organic way of working and the Alicia Keys story is nice. And she's not pressed for time or distracted with non-album commitments! I'm really looking forward to M13.

Here's a bit of a curveball: Ariel Pink says he's been asked to work on Madonna's new album, the follow up to 2012's MDNA. In an interview with Faster Louder, Pink said he was contacted by Madge's label, Interscope, to help out. 

"They need something edgy. They need songwriting," he said. "She can’t just have her Avicii, her producers or whatever, come up with a new techno jam for her to gyrate to and pretend that she’s 20 years old. They actually need songs. I’m partly responsible for that return-to-values thing." (Watch out, Diplo and Blood Diamonds!)

That said, he doesn't sound like he's fallen under her spell. "I guess it’s called ‘throwback’, but the first record was so good because of the songs," he said. "It's been a downward slide [since]. Ray of Light is not cool. And all the other stuff she’s done after that, it’s not like it matters. It really shows a drain of values. People need more substance in their mac-and-cheese. People need more sugar or something."

It's worth pointing out that dozens of songwriters are asked to write for artists as big as Madonna, so it's entirely possible Pink's contributions will never come to light. (Or that after reading this interview, Madonna will wave her hand and have him thrown to the dogs.)

It's also worth noting that Pink covered "Everybody" for 2007's Through the Wilderness, a Madonna tribute album. And which Madonna record is "Everybody" from? Her first one! He's not just being retroactively selective with his tastes, then. Come on, Ariel, you don't even like "Like a Prayer"?

I knew that asshole had nothing to do with the new album.  Glad some people have defended her. My biggest problem with his comments was the ageism, if he thinks her first was her best then ok, but I can't help feel he's talking out of ignorance or prejudice in some way.

Madonna was the one who didn't want to promote the record with performances, according to her Guy begged her to. 

 

But Guy Oseary should've put in motion OTHER kinds of promo, like teasers, proper lyric videos, etc. And definitely a new website.

 

So much you can do promo-wise for an artist without taking up their time at all!
