Did anyone else notice the montage of videos of past performances? I was waiting for Madonnas face...Nothing....

I thought I read the majority of clips were from past artists that have died? I think Katy Perry was only artist in the montage?

At the begining I though that it was a tribute... but later with Beyoncé, Katy Perry or U2

I saw some of the performance on YouTube. It looked like the montage continued being projected on the stage when the tv camera changed angle. Could it be possible M's appearance was when the camera angle changed and we couldn't see it?

It was a rights issue because Bridgestone who sponsored/paid for Madonna's halftime show owns the rights and Pepsi who sponsored last night's show would of had to.pay a steep licensing fee. That's why a lot of artists weren't included

I didn't watch 2016 superbowl. i've only watched it once when madonna was going to be on there. and i was bored to death (cause i hate sports)until madonna was on there. i absolutely loved madonna's performance. her coming out like cleopatra. i really don't believe that one girl was in anymore madonna videos after she did that. so dazedmadonna your right if janet was left out also. 

Superbowl 2016 was great except for the half time which was a snoozefest. So stoked that the Broncos won and so happy for Peyton Manning.

But Superbowl 2012 remains my favorite ever for two reasons:

[*]My favorite team won - the Giants + Eli Manning is my favorite quarterback!
