Well okay but I've never seen a musical documentary or concert make it to physical media from Netflix after the fact, no matter who it is.  Taylor Swift, for example, monetizes every last cent of all her merchandise and music.  She has vinyls and cassettes even for singles!  But not one of her concerts has made it to physical media after her Speak Now tour in 2011.  They're on all the streaming platforms from Apple for 1989, Netflix for Reputation and the documentary, and Disney+ for the last 2 concerts, but all this tells me for someone who loves money just as much as Madonna is that they paid a lump sum that couldn't be refused and was worth all the loss of physical sales.

I hope you're right about Madonna being the exception, but we all know she only cares about the money also and not her legacy/collectors so we'll get what we'll get and she'll likely then move on.  Live music recordings are an extremely niche fan market to begin with, so it's not like they don't know what the number is they need to pay to guarantee exclusivity.

If thats the case (a lot of cash for exclusive rights) i doubt that they let her have the final say over the editing process as somebody in this forum clamed. Sure they looked into RH and Mdna tour before, and after getting a epileptic shock, im sure it was clear to them that she shouldnt have the final say if its going to be branded as a exclusive netflix production

We know how she is, let's face it. She uses people up, the drops them when no longer useful. But then I think Madonna was more useful to Anitta (who was unheard-of before M) than the other way around. Everybody uses everybody in showbiz. By the way, did Maluma score a hit after her? Just wondering...

Maluma scored a few big hits after Medellin.

Most of all „Hawaii“ with for example  580.000.000 streams on Spotify and 642.000.000 views on youtube.

  3. I hope madame X isnt a fan of 0.007 sec. Frames, and we are in for a official HD trailer soon!

I can imagine a streaming service release like a release on netflix. The GP is craving for concerts and madonna is known for putting on a great show (in a bad or good way). And if its not netflix or amazon prime then prob something else like epix.

2020 was the quietest Madonna year of all time. I don't think she did one official photoshoot, Instagram shit doesn't count, music video, performance, tv or print interview all year.

I understand somewhat because of Covid-19, but not even a Zoom interview on a talk show.  Nothing

You forget those weird bathtub videos. They got a lot of press haha

Almost nine years now and I'm still wondering if she at least sung Open Your Heart and Like A Prayer live. She looks so gorgeous though and I don't think the theme of ancient Rome meets disco gets appreciated enough. It's just genius. If she is indeed preparing for a Superbowl comeback shouldn't she start packing soon? She'd need more than two weeks even to prepare for one song, being the perfectionist she is.

Nothing is live. There is a studio version of the. Whole set that proofs that everything is prerecorded and later used as playback on stage.

  6. I would looove to get my hands on Madame X demos.

Medellin is my favorite track, and i really think that there must be an alternative version/demo.

Chorus Maluma: „si te enamoro...“ maybe its just me, but for me those vocals on the ending of „enamoro“ are loopy and edited like in an easy copy and paste way to make the note longer and with autotune higher (enamoro-o-o-o). It doesnt sound smooth to me. And its def. not a difficult note to hold ans sing so i cant see why they had to edit it to sound fake. That post-recording session edit only makes sense to me, if they changed their minds on what the sound of the chorus should be like.
