Come back from what? Being the most successful, living music artist? Being an international icon? Putting out one of her finest records in her nearly 40 year career? Being an artist with no boundaries? Being a great mother? Being a mature, sophisticated, intelligent woman? I am not sure that I want to change Madonna's trajectory. She is a goddess... a queen... and a fine human being?

Terrible setlist, and I’m happy that it includes more new material, but still doesn’t seem to fit and I’d much rather have forgotten gems like East Ride, Falling Free, Why’s It So Hard and Bad Girl than covers or Papa Don’t Preach, Human Nature, Like A Prayer, Vogue and Express Yourself for the millionth time in some of their most uninspired versions.
Misleading teasers on Instagram where most of the rehearsed gems were cut.
Too much time wasted on speeches or the Polaroid and beer segments.
The show is more like a downsized version of her big tours rather than a true theater experience.

"Hard Candy" reminds me of Grandma's candy dish with the sort of candy that stores don't sell yet Grandma never runs low.

Arguably the biggest 80's female album and no celebration or recognition from the label whatsoever. A travesty.

I'm Breathless is definitely an album. It contains more original songs that Madonna, Like a Virgin, True Blue, Like a Prayer, Music, American Life or Hard Candy. Downgrading it to "soundtrack" status is due to it only selling a couple of million (low compared to any 80's Madonna release). It is absolutely an album and a brilliant one at that.

My least favorite Madonna album is Like a Virgin. It feels the least Madonnaesque. We still got LAV, MG, Angel, LDLHA +DYU from this endeavour. I also love Stay and Europe added ITG! So I adore (6)... I mean (7) songs from my least favorite album. That is more songs than I like on any other artist's "best"album outside of Prince. I guess that I am truly a fan.

Jair Bolsonaro will probably be a factor. A complete monster. He is Trump with ambition... I wouldn't be surprised if Brazil is not included.

1987..... Who's that Girl Tour in Pontiac, Michigan. M was such a force of nature. When she began posing behind the light screen for Open Your Heart, I was caught forever. To me... Open Your Heart Madonna was pure freedom and thus began my love affair with the Queen. Her live version was everything to me and made me realize that I would survive adolescence.

Help me understand one thing. ....All of the bitches obsessing about the mixing of Rebel Heart.... when every one of them was on the net illegally downloading the material months and months early. M and her team had to stop the bleeding. For fucks sake... what was she supposed to do? Really? Tell me? I'm waiting....

If I read one more god damned apologetic media story that mentions Madonna's age, Madonna making up for a lack of talent by being a great performer or Madonna attempting a "comeback".... I am gonna effing scream. I really am.
1. Madonna is not some succubus that is feeding off of younger artists. These popular artists are lining up to work with her. The current movers and shakers recognize that M is still a force and consider her to be cutting edge. There would be no features if they she was not still a prize to be had in others' discographies.
2. Madonna is the most successful living music artist on the planet and ever article news story finds it necessary to slam her musical ability as if she is only about controversy, image manipulation and special effects. Fourteen glorious studio albums (I will always count Breathless) and the media is still acting like she has not revolutionized the industry to a large degree and brought bountiful offerings. 35 years of writing her obituary (since Like a Virgin) and they still seem to get all of their facts wrong or just skip facts altogether. It seems that stories about M are filled with personal criticisms and a complete avoidance of her substantive accolades.
3. And what exactly is she coming back from? She has been, is and will be the Queen. M15 will extend her legacy only.... as it is not in jeopardy. Bitch.... she's Madonna!!!!! And there is nothing that is gonna change that gospel truth. Nothing. M does not have to crawl back up from the muck and mire because she has never fallen (aside from the Britts). She is Queen and King too if she so desires.
Sorry... I just had to vent.
