Maybe Diablo was for the initial writing. But if M wasn’t feeling it then maybe she wants a different feel. Also Rosie maybe just didn’t have time to stop in. If she’s like me, I don’t want to just pop in on friends. I like to chill and have discussion. Rosie being a long time friend might be a more honest opinion than someone that’s just not wanting to lose their status and job.

Not me.  I would skip my mother's own funeral to pop in to Madonna's  for a peak at an unreleased DVD.

  2. Standard Videos:

    Express Yourself - Madonna's ultimate anthem - Mdolla's beginning

Like a Prayer - Madonna's most controversial video -Esther's beginning

    Vogue - Pure Magic - Dita's beginning

    Live Videos:

GIVE IT 2 Me (Sticky and Sweet) - Fire.... pure fire

Sooner or Later (Academy Awards) - stunning on every level

Music Inferno (Confessions Tour) - so much energy.  Music makes the people come together.

Admittedly, I have not seen one minute of Madame X Tour yet.

My sister's friends only know Ghosttown lol it was played a lot in Italy

My co-workers from America (who are in their 20s) don't even know Like a prayer

Your coworkers live in a very myopic world.  I know classic musicians and their music well and it isn't because I grew up during those times.  To not know Patsy Cline, Donna Summer, Elvis or the Beatles is unthinkable.  Your coworkers are not very well rounded.

It's a poorly produced album and that song is one of the worst things in her discography. The sheer lack of creativity in an effort to pander to the fickle nature of gaining a chart hit... Ironically, many of the other songs on the album veer off in the opposite direction but still sound equally trash and utterly forgettable.

Get a physical cause something is wrong with you.

    what

I was a teenage boy, trying to fit into a heteronormative world.  The songs seemed a bit too bubblegum pop to me lyrically.  As with many closet cases, I shied away from signs that I would was a gay guy and bubblegum pop was one of those signs.  Then Madonna emerged on steroids in the videos and she was sexier than ever.  I was a weak little kid.  What can I say?  It was 1989 and the world hated gay people. Madonna was mainstream but a trailblazer.  I wasn't ready for 15 more years.

    Huh?

Madonna has never done a Madonna 2.0, Like a Virgin 2.0, True Blue 2.0, Like a Prayer 2.0, Erotica 2.0, Bedtime Stories 2.0, Ray of Light 2.0, Music 2.0, American Life 2.0, Confessions on a Dancefloor 2.0, Hard Candy 2.0, MDNA 2.0 or Rebel Heart 2.0, so why would she start repeating now?  All of her studio  work has brought a new era.  The Queen of reinvention.

  7. Some Girls is my husband's all time, favorite Madonna song.  He is not a super fan by any means but knows every single, song and demo via me.  And Some Girls is his favorite.  Haha. I love how Madonna speaks to each of us differently.

The biggest sacrilege with TIC is the hideous version of Like A Prayer. The thought that there are people who only have TIC as their only Madonna album and only have this ugly remix of Like A Prayer in their collection is hard to bear.

I don't mind the remixes but it does date the album a bit.  The IC was a dream compared the the butchering of Celebration.  All of the omissions and edits.  And the bonus songs were hardly memorable.

I'm glad they didn't include WTG though. I have nothing against the song, it's just kind of generic and not particularly memorable other than because of its Spanish lyrics, but La Isla Bonita already covers that territory much better.

Btw I won't tolerate any disrespect towards Cherish. It's a cute bop. :bubblebitch:

Sorry but the bridge in Who's that Girl is life... and the song went number one.  It belonged on IC.  She just had so many hits by then.  It could have easily been two cds.
