People talk a lot about the damage she's done on social media, but I don't use social media at all, so I have no idea what she's supposed to of done ?

There are ways to promote yourself without becoming an absolute joke in the process when using social media. The daily fake pictures just come across as cringe and desperate for attention. Her social media is regarded as a joke by everyone I have ever talked with that is not an ultra stan. The same old artists are here to disturb the peace bullshit is getting very old, nobody is disturbed or outraged by her social media, they just like mock it and troll. I am just really hoping for a reinvention in 2022, I dont think I can survive another year of Madame X.

No offense to anyone oc, but you guys are so dramatic sometimes, seriously, reading the comments here makes me feel as happy as Jesus dying on the cross:Madonna033::Madonna033::Madonna033:

Yeah we should just all stay chill and keep looking forward to many more Eurovision performances, Instagram wars with irrelevant rappers and tracks like Bitch Im Loca. Who needs a greatest hits world tour when we all have candy shop to look forward to the rest of our lives??

  3. She needs a reinvention in 2022 to act as damage control if we want any hope of chart success ever again. She has lost respect in the public eye. In terms of touring, a greatest hits tour that coincides with the biopic and reissues is her last real chance for a comeback. If she and her team fuck this up, It is very unlikely that she will be relevant again till she dies. I know Madonna though and I am worried that she wont reinvent because she has stopped caring as much about her career any more and seems to be going through something of a rebellious phase. And someone for the love of God, take the girls phone away! such regular use of social media has been nothing short of a disaster for her, it has ruined the mystery that was so central to Madonna's appeal and image.

So is it looking likely that soundtrack tracks and individual singles will be placed on the nearest album? For example, the 4 tracks from Who's That Girl will become part of a True Blue reissue? You'll See and I Want You will become part of a Bedtime Stories reissue, and so on?

That sounds like an abomination of an idea. It will sound terrible as a full album listen unless they totally rework the tracks.

IT WOULD BE THE COMEBACK TO END ALL COMEBACKS

Imagine a debut video for the era of this amazing Future. The sun engulfs the planet destroying Madonna, she emerges out of the ground in ashes like a Phoenix and comes as Madame X. The video shows Madame X scouring the Earth recounting tragedies of her past in moments that would’ve prevented the ignorance of climate change and the destruction of mankind.

Oh boy, this reads like one of my bad acid trips back in the 80's?

Give it 2 Me, Miles Away and Celebration were the last Madonna songs I heard on the radio and were popular where I live.

If Celebration had been properly promoted it could have gotten even higher in the charts. It was a real hit in many countries. I know I keep harping on this, but Interscope was such a disaster for Madonna from a management and promotional standpoint, Warner is already doing a much better job in those departments.

A pre Madonna rock style album is probably what I want from her more than anything else. Some of those tracks are incredible

Oh for sure, that would be pretty awesome to see what she could come up with. I think that Madonna fans are left with two choices. Do we want her to make incredible music for the people that support her or do we want her to pursue trying to achieve chart success by lowering herself to Elton Johns pathetic level of collaborations. Even if she did have another big hit through collaboration, it would ultimately feel like a hollow triumph because it was just achieved by leeching onto some relevant artist. Madonna really has nothing to prove at this point and she should embrace her incredible legacy.

There are a million other ideas than Ray Of Light part two. Let it die already hens.

    a lo-fi record

    a punk record

    a dub record

    a rock album

    an alt Rnb album

    an acid house album

    a psychedelic California album

she does not need to revisit old ground so closely. It’s boring.

Madonna attempting a rock album would literally doom any chance of chart success at all, so I think we can rule that one out.

I could see them doing a similar release format like Prince’s estate, where there’s super deluxe editions, legacy releases, and one offs. 1 of each released a year.

As for first release, either Madonna or LAP

If Madonna's team could wise up and start acting like the Prince estate in terms of reissues that would be a literal dream. I literally about had an orgasm when that magnificent box set of 1999 showed up at my door, not getting my hopes up though because this is Madonna we are talking about??

    It's good. It's not THAT good. :Madonna049:

Commenting on collabs...  You have to admit, M doesn't have a great track record with collabs. They're usually not amazing. And the one thing that separates most of these other artists is that they have a "sound" that they usually bring to the collab. Whereas Madonna being the chameleon she's always been... doesn't have that instantly recognizable sound she brings to the table. (What is a Madonna sound?) Her voice changes, her genres change. (Champagne Rose she's a Chinese Robot.)

I think she's missing a big opportunity to not make a Ray of Light part 2.   NOT EXACTLY THE SAME before everyone attacks the idea. But... go watch the Nothing Really Matters video. The visuals, the elements of the song. It's essentially emotional electro house music with pianos playing psychotic chromatic notes in a breakdown. It didn't sound like anything before, and it still doesn't sound like anything now. The vocal harmonies. The background singers. BRING BACK NIKI AND DONNA. a bridge that doesn't seem tacked on as an after thought/or a chore but actually completes the song. Songs that have a personal meaning for her, but are universally understood. I think Crazy is a "catchy" song, but I feel absolutely NOTHING when I listen to it. I don't feel the pain she's singing about. The metaphors are so random that you almost have to study the lyrics to understand what they're going for. It's so try hard and all I can do is wish I was listening to Crazy by Gnarls Barkley.

    Ok Im just rambling.

She also needs to properly mix her music.

A truly emotive album is exactly what I feel like she has been missing for a long time now. She tried to bring that back with Rebel Heart but the flow of the record was ruined by stupid tracks like SEX and Bitch Im Madonna.I am totally tired of the dance albums and get kinda mad about all the fans clamoring for another Confessions. It would be cool to see Madonna come up with something truly deep and personal but without being a bore, something that Ray of Light achieved perfectly, I enjoyed Madame X but it was much too experimental to be a big chart success. I feel like Madonna and her team are doing a very good job right now of promotion and keeping her in the public eye and dont want to see opportunities for a hit fucked up by incompetent promotion from her label, poor lead single choice and messy collaborations. Another thing is that the quality of her music should never be judged on chart success as that is often dictated by an artists current popularity rather than actual quality, Ed Sheeran could come up with the worst crap imaginable and it would still be a hit, surely that recent abomination by him and Elton John has shown us that. OK, I am done with my rant now.

I've attempted to decor my living room in the same way actually, albeit with a much lower budget lol. We have the same taste <3

Every time I see photo's of Madonna's house in the background, her choice in art furnishings seems to be superb. She has always been very enthusiastic about stuff like that.

Yeah i mean i cannot say i hate it, im just being overdramatic but i definitely do not understand the praise it gets but then again I'm an MDNA stan

Its totally fine if us fans have different tastes regarding Madonna's albums. I utterly despise nearly everything about MDNA as an album except for a few tracks like Girls Gone Wild. But hey, atleast we got a good tour.

Sooooo... I was scrolling through YouTube on my Apple TV and I noticed they've updated their artist pages to look like a music service under albums and single. They even changed the static image while a song plays to appear to include a song progression bar. Curious, I go to look at Madonna's page.

It's clear they are in the process of switching everything over to this new look. They've gone backwards from Frozen SICKDICK to Bedtime Stories. Erotica and earlier still look like the old video playlists. But Like a Prayer is nowhere to be found. It's not on the page anywhere. So I've concluded that Like a Prayer will be the first Reissue.

    Delusional, Speculation, Come togetha...

Hmmm thats interesting, I cant say that Like a Prayer would have been my first choice but not complaining either if it does happen that you are right.

You're right, and its weird. Btw i really could not stand the MX and felt like I was watching Moira Rose but its dumb to have 2019 define her and her entire career...i mean a 40 year career and this is what broke the camel's back? ?

Madame X is one of those albums that fans either seem to really like or really hate. Personally, I was getting incredibly tired of the same old dance stuff and was glad that she released something more experimental. Madame X is not a singles album, it is meant to be listened to as a whole, even though Crave is criminally underrated in my opinion.

  15. I think that we need to ask ourselves if charts are even important anymore. I would rather Madonna make great music that the fans will enjoy than stoop to Elton John's level of terrible collaborations. It would be nice if Madonna made a comeback in terms of the charts but for me it is not very important. I do think that her being back with Warner is a very good sign though, I was really impressed with their promotion of Madame X Concert Film. Rebel Heart and MDNA were shamefully promoted by Interscope because it was largely a touring contract she signed.

Justify My Love and Erotica are genius works of art.

Photoshop-instagram-whore-Italian-porn-chic is just trashy and pathetic.
    Know the difference.

Mae West/Lola Ferrari/Amanda LePore is not a good look on anyone.

Since when did I compare Instagram to her music videos. Clean the rocks out of your head and stop the trolling or you are going to removed from this forum soon. Literally everyone uses photoshop on social media and some of the stuff she posts is meant to get people talking which has been massively successful so far. Madonna uses her social media as a marketing gimmick, nobody is calling it art now are they? GTFO please, you picked the wrong person to respond to, or did you actually realize that you are one of the idiots I was referencing in my previous comment.
