The original concept of the cube had 3 poles instead of a bar across....thoughts?

That cube doesn't have see-through sides. People viewing her from the sides wouldn't be able to see her (unless this was just a prototype and the final would be see-through on the sides or was changed in the development phase). Maybe the insurance company wanted a vertical bar on the back. Not sure why they would've removed those extra poles but the current choreography doesn't call for the need of them.

The one she uses doesn't have see through sides either

Yes, I think this was a prototype and they added the see through sizes later. As for the poles, perhaps the original choreo were different and later removed and scaled back.

Possible, or the scrapped section used the cube and the poles related to that

Taking a wild guess maybe the last so called scrapped section or another point she went over the crowd to the other stage on the harness like RHT. The insurance company or her crew mightve cut bits out because obvs so much almost killed her.
