Madonna at the Casino

The last casino I was at in Ontario had a Madonna slot machine. The art was taken from the (edit) Material Girl era Anyone else see this elsewhere in the world? And does anyone know if her management or M herself approved and/or knows about it?

Oh I can't imagine a slot machine which plays her music would not be officially approved.  I'm certain Madona and her record company signed off on a deal regarding these machines.

I'm sure it would have been nothing to concern her, she is probably never even informed herself ... Licensing is licensing, I can't imagine she gives much of it a second thought.

Even so, she and/or her management would have had to approve it.  I'm sure she's aware of the machines.  Whether she "gives it a second thought" now is something entirely different than being informed of having a slot machine using your name, image and music.  Remember this is Madonna we are talking about.  She has always been very involved with all business dealings that involve her name, likeness and music.

I honestly don't imagine she will be aware of it. I think we have this image of her as someone who signs off on everything but I really don't imagine that's the case. If it was a line if clothing, yeah I imagine so because she would be attributed to it widely and publicly... But a few slot machines? Nah. I imagine she genuinely isn't aware... I feel like there are bigger fish for her to fry

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.  I'm pretty sure she's been informed of the slot machines, and that she personally approved it, if not talked into doing it by her management.

This slot machine in Vegas was reported about in the media when it first came about years ago, she definitely knows about it and approved it. Guy O probably initiated this. EDIT: This article reports she signed the deal herself and was allegedly paid 10 million.

I remember that report.  And I'm betting Guy is the one that came to Madonna with the idea.  Madonna is very aware of the investments she's involved in.

Ah, thank you! I have to agree with the fact that M wouldn't just let her name and image be used without her permission -- especially something as global as this. I think I even saw one on the last cruise we were on. I hate gambling so I didn't play it (I was tempted). My hubby is allowed 200$ twice a year lol

Imo a good amount is Guy’s idea and she has teams in her management that handle this stuff…. but yeah I’d imagine she knows about it and green lights it.  
 

I thought when she was younger on tours she used to look at most of the invoices as well then.  She was always sort of anal retentive
