It deserves its own thread for being the 'lost 3rd song from Vision Quest' for 20 years then rumored to be from funky band "I level" around 2006 before being finally labelled as recorded from an obscure band called "Shift 1"... I personnally never founded it sounded like Madonna but the legend was funny and many fans believed it, or wanted to believe it, so in a way it will always be the subsitute to Warning Signs...  Lies in your eyes see the lies on your eeeeeeyes...

Lol i don't own that bootleg but i'm not suprise "Lies in your eyes" appears on bootlegs from the 80's and 90's... I even bought a cd bootleg in 2001 and it had "Baby talk" on it 😂

I bought the "twin" version of this bootleg called Cover girl in Los Angeles in 1992 (different cover and different tracklist). I think it was a record shop in Hollywood Blvd. I was sooo happy to finally get Lies in your eyes! Mislabelled as Lies in your mind. It sounded so not Madonna, but I loved the track!

There was another rumour saying Donna de Lory sings on this and this is part of the many demos she recorded for various producers in L.A when she was a studio singer. I don't think it sounds like her either.

It’s a great song. And yes, the mystery behind it it is so beautiful. It definitely sounds like something that was supposed to be for Vision Quest. It’s several girls singing on it. In a few random parts you can hear a voice like Donna Delory. Can someone ask her about this song?
