I do find it ironic though that she's hosted an oscars party for years yet the industry she owes them nothing ....and in 2006 she viewed to never star in another film ever again. 

And even directing she gets paid dust ...and she took issue with hollyweird in 2003 anyway so like there's an irony there

Ironically I'd love her to direct movies more than act in them her visual flair is gorgeous

Maybe she should take up acting again more  - she was good in some films especially Desperately Seeking Susan, Who's That Girl and Evita

i think the movie industry have too much prejudices against her....... and btw i think a tv series is better than a movie........ she hsve so many iconic songs and moments to put all in a movie and give the right space to everything.......
