Madonna: Hard Candy (Poll)

The song that stood out for me, because it is just so darn! fun to dance to, is "Beat Goes On", though "Devil Wouldn't Recognize You" was a very close second (for obviously different reasons).  I know that this album has gotten some serious flack from both fans and critics alike, but-while this album is not in my top 3-I personally liked this whole era---her look, her attitude, the whole vibe.  The only thing that I do not understand, or appreciate, about this whole time, is why she chooses "Candy Shop" only from this album to perform.  Let's be real; there are better options.

 

So what do you think?  And just like Stevie does perfectly every time, explain your choices.

Everytime it is easier to say which is the worst track, in this case it's Spanish lesson.

 

I voted Miles away for its lyrics and for the beautiful guitar intro, although I generally don't like songs with repetitive words.

 

Devil is very good too, but it reminds me too much of Justin's Cry me a river.

 

She's not me is my second option. I like songs that tell stories!

 

Heartbeat and Dance tonight are my other favourites.

I loved Miles Away since the minute I listened to the snippet leaked prior to the album release.

'Voices' is my favorite. A wonderful way to close the album, and it is a very good message to moody people, many of whom we all have in our lives.

One of my favorite Madonna albums so very hard for me. Give It 2 me is my favorite Madonna dance song so I voted for that. But Heartbeat and especially She´s not me are also brilliant.
