    I love all of you b!tches!

    Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the state of the world and just need a place to escape.  This forum  is that escape. This forum does get heated and a bit crazy but it is because we are all family.  Families always bring out the fire.  Through all of the squabbling and insane opinions (like I'm Breathless is not a studio album-lol), you all really shine.  I would rather debate Madonna's artistic endeavors with this passionate group any day of the week than discuss the true state of the world.  Again.... I love all of you b!tches and thank you for always being genuine.

    I just wish all of this would sound less keyboard-ish and instead would use real piano, etc. Or even a better keyboard sound that's closer to real piano.
     

    Breathless is a hybrid of modern and old genres.  It is brilliant that she utilized the modern style of the day with the period pieces.  Breathless is perfection.

    Madonna's catalog is extensive and expanses decades of technology.  Bitch I'm Madonna's mastering is very jarring after a song like Angel (with the volume turned up).  She is hard to stream outside of a full album or individual song release.

    What?  Cheap music?  Something to Remember is one of her finest tracks.  Gotta take that song out of that list for sure.  Lol

    I love the I'm Breathless album.  It was perfect for the movie.

    I am pretty satisfied with M but I will try.

    1. Dating Warren Beatty when she was inarguably Queen of the World.  He barely seemed alive in Truth or Dare.  Madonna usually surrounds herself with such creative types.  

    2. Naming GHV2,... well. GHV2 was the least creative move of her entire career.

    3. The American Life flag video replacing one of the best videos that she ever made and, let's face it, the PR damage was already done so it was pointless.  Very reactionary.... not creative.

    4. Including GMAYL in the Super Bowl performance.  Next to Vogue, Music and Like a Prayer, it seemed even weaker than it already is.  I mean, she could have sang Like a Virgin and/or Ray of Light.  The mainstream crowd would have love LAV.  It would have been pandemonium.  

    5.  All of the over-editing in the Rebel Heart Tour.  Some of the songs are simply not watchable due to the inconsistency of her outfits, hair and makeup.  Like a Virgin is particularly hard to watch and the actual mix and performance were unbelievably stunning.  Way too many cuts and I miss M closeups.  

    Again, I love the Queen but these are my five gripes.

    I also think a Mariah/J.Lo-esque type of remix that featured a rapper and had a different melody, production and slightly different lyrics would have been interesting. They were all the rage back in the 90s and early 00s.
