@Prayer @milingo83 is there a way to catch and share the YouTube/YouTube Music rankings about M's MV's and tracks available on the "Madonna - Topic" official account? (You know for sure what I'm talking about, right?) I don't use Spotify for years (the free version's disgraceful and I don't feel like subscribing it given I got Deezer Premium and even this one hasn't satisfied me the way it used to do), would like to know how much I've contributed to M's statistics since I have been used to listen M mostly through YTM... (even with the MV's constant appearing instead of single/extended/album versions, yes, know it sucks but I'm perfectly used to bear it as of now...)

Ofc this would be through a whole new thread specifically for YT/YTM stats/rankings...

I think you can only check those manually, but on music artists accounts (like Madonna's) the Madonna - Topic audio files merge with the official videos when it's the same song, I think. Basically, YouTube puts together everything on one same account.

This is the only thing I can think about at the moment, but it's just the regular channel stats:

It's surprising and organic, apart from being the title track of one of her most successful studio albums on the platform (with "Confessions") and a single back in 1986, of course, it doesn't have any other exposure, it's not part of "Celebration" or any other compilation, etc.

People just like it.

I confess it didn't do much for me until the "Rebel Heart Tour" live version:

That was such a lovely moment in the actual show being there that I love "True Blue" since then.

I’ve always loved the album version of True Blue. More so than many of her more celebrated hits. I just figured she let it be left out of various comps and set lists over the years bc of its association w/her first marriage.

I despise the remixed version though. For me it completely guts the early 60s appeal of the original.

Well, she actually rehearsed it alongside with Live to Tell for Girlie Show.

Naturally nor one nor another could fit in the narrative of the concert, so they were quickly scrapped, shame is that there weren't any alternate songs to replace their place!!!

I've always loved the song since its release in '86.  And I agree her performance on Rebel Heart Tour was a great moment in the show.  I loved how she stripped it back, but it still did not take away from the original. Very recognizable and sang beautifully.  I still hope one day, she does some sort of Acoustic show, performing many hits (and non-hits) preferably televised. Something in the vein og MTV's/Vh1's... Unplugged/StoryTeller series.
