I don't consider them there own individual songs. I feel like they are an extension (much like remixes) to the originals.  Though, I guess Material Gworrllll! would count as it's own song being it's only inspired by the original song, but entirely an original song of it's own.

As mentioned, I don't hate it and others have stated they don't either. While I suspect the majority of fans would rate the song very low among her catalog, I think there are many who enjoy it just as well.

I disagree with your comparison to Whoops Now.  Yes, it has that similar fun vibe, but that's about the only comparison I can make between the two.  Whoops Now is just fantastic.  It's one of my favorites on the JANET album.
