In the US MTV played a commercial celebrating Madonna's 40 years on and off the stage at the VMAs before the Pepsi commercial. Does that mean MTV will have special Madonna programming or was that the actual tribute.

They do a new agreement. The ad is released again, 34 years later. A day after her "redemption" post and the new MTV airing during the VMAs... she posts a Coke story, of course.
