According to Italian Finance daily Milano Finanza Madonna is imminently due to appear in the fourth Versace campaign of her career. Mert & Marcus apparently did the shoot and Versace's publicist has refused to comment. The shots for the S/S 2015 collection will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

She's famously one of the fittest women in music, an expert at yoga, horseriding and high impact aerobics.

But it seems even Madonna can come unstuck on the slopes.

The 56-year-old pop superstar is currently enjoying a skiing holiday with her family in Gstaad, Switzerland.

The exercise-mad singer has been out on the piste every day since she touched down in the exclusive resort after Christmas.

But she was less-than-successful as she enjoyed a New Year's Eve charge through the powder.

 

The Vogue hitmaker headed out with a male ski instructor and flew down one slope before things went awry.

She ended up taking a spill and landing on her behind.

One man, who looked remarkably like the star's ex-husband Guy Ritchie, crouched down to have a word with Madonna as she rubbed her eyes with gloved hands.

Taking to Instagram to wish her fans a Happy New Year on Wednesday, Madonna shared two stunning images from the resort, which showed the view from the top of the slopes.

She wrote: 'Last sunset of the year! Good-bye 2014! Je t'ai aime! Je ne t"ai pas aime! #livingforlove.'
