I love what Diplo has said and he's talking about specific things that might be great from her new work, and that is much more exciting than anything else we've got. I respect the man and what he has to say.   He's really hot right now so he doesn't really need to overly hype things up.

So cool that Diplo is giving us some info on this M13. Without his info, we would hardly know anything. And it’s strange that Avicii has said nothing of his tracks since March.  Did Madonna scrap his eleven demos or rework them with other producers? 

 

And personally I think MNEK is a goodt fit for Madonna. He is pretty incredible. His production is funky but kind of sparse. Anyway here are some of "MNEK"'s songs :

Billboard's Diplo cover story also gives more details about the work the producer has been doing with Madonna. According to him, three of the songs he, Madonna, and producer Ariel Rechtshaid did together are "smashes" while the other is "super weird." "Late one night in the studio we got a little bit drunk and she improvised a little hook and we made a song out of it," he said. "I think it’s going to be a breakthrough if she can manage to get everything together and get it out properly."

Ever the source for information on Madonna’s upcoming album, Diplo has once again opened up about his time collaborating with her over the past few months. In a new interview with Billboard, Diplo talks about being in the studio with Madonna, how some of the tracks have evolved, and what happens when Madonna gets drunk on the job. Here are more details on Madonna upcoming album that Diplo shared with Billboard magazine than what we learned last night.

"I think three [tracks] are just like amazing, smashes." ~ Diplo

 

Diplo and Ariel Rechtshaid have been in the studio with Madonna for three sessions in New York so far, and are clearly psyched about how the tracks are coming along.

 

Madonna gravitated to the hook of a track that Diplo crafted with MNEK, a London songwriter who worked on the Disclosure album. When it became a Madonna song, Ariel Rechtshaid and MNEK went back into the studio to work out the verses.

 

Right when Billboard’s Jonathan Ringen met Diplo for the cover story, Diplo’s phone rang. He answered it, joke-barking, “What do you want?†and then, before the person on the other end could speak, said, “Stop being a little bitch.†The next moment he turned serious. “Are you going to be in the studio? I need to get some stuff from you. Text me when I can meet you tonight.â€

 

It was Ariel Rechtshaid, and Diplo was trying to reach him to discuss four or five songs they’re working on for Madonna’s next album, especially that track crafted with MNEK.

sounds awesome, a pop track that sounds like a ballad, with piano? and maybe deep lyrics....this is what Madonna does best.

But most of all, if billboard's sources are legit and the album is really going to be released this fall, that's enough to make me happy

All this hype from Diplo is great promotion for Madonna's album. She most definitely may reach another audience with her new music. This excites me very much. Thanks for all the great news Groovyguy. ;)

This stuff really got me excited though Diplo is my favourite dude at the moment  I hope there's more Diplo than Avicii on the album.

For all we know, there might even be more Avicii [11 demos] than Diplo [4-5 demos]. Diplo has been doing quite a bit of interviews and naturally he was asked and he responded. Unlike Diplo, Avicii hasn't done any interview yet. But in any case, I luv both guys so I'm super excited about M13.

Diplo is crazy, I want Madonna to do more crazy stuff and not the typical EDM. Avicii is not bad at all but I feel he's a more.. typical.

MDNA was amazingly hyped as well but in the end the album suffered a lot from the poor single choices and almost nonexisting promotion, making it probably one of the worst commercial disasters in her career... Wish MDNA had received the commercial recognition it deserved!

Sounds like something Madonna would do.

What about the video then? she only has like 10 days; or maybe she's gonna do a lyrics video like everyone and keep everyone waiting for the official video?
