4 bananas, definitely exceeded my expectations.       main bad thing was the single covers and their content was so meh. the remixes were very uninspired, i think i liked a couple lol.

 

And my favourite part was the promotion      it was a real gift.

I liked to see her smile in every show of the Rebel Heart Tour. Single remixes were weak. Some other track should be released as a single like Heartbreak City and Rebel Heart (other version) ... Hold Tight, Borrowed Time and Wash All Over Me should have been performed.

Surprise songs in shows were awesome! I hope she sings live I'll Remember someday.

4 bananas, so I have GREAT expectations for the next era to be PERFECTION!! The real big problem now is waiting that long (and, trust me, this kind of urgency didn't happen since ROL for me), anyway...  

The best part was the album (except Rebel Heart and Wash All Over Me, I think the final versions are all as good as the early ones, if not better in some cases), leak gate included, superexciting and still so much interesting to listen to.

I had to vote album because without it I wouldn't get what was my first tour. And it's bloated, not her finished vision but it's lyrically and production-wise her strongest since COADF; would say Ray of Light at it's high points.

The album ranks in my personal Top3, together with LAP and AL. I like all songs except probably Best Night.

The writing, the melodies, the lyrics made me think Madonna really did her best. I hope she does the same with the new album! And I hope we don't have to wait for two more years!!

The leaks period was strange, it was exciting to hear all those demos, how can we deny it, although it damaged the album sales.

 

When the album came out it was disappointing to see some songs destroyed in the arrangement, such as Joan of Arc or Beautiful Scars. The booklet is very very bad: no lyrics, no references. Only song titles which we alrady know. The single releases were the worst part. Bad covers, videos under my expectations. The radio and video rotation was fine in Italy, but the bad position in the charts was terrible. At least Ghosttown really deserved to be another #1. Many songs deserved to be singles, such as Unapologetic Bitch and Rebel Heart.

 

The tour was fantatic in terms of song selection and presentation. Although many things had been already seen (Burning up on guitar, the flags on Holiday, etc.), the Madonna attitude, so close to the fans, was a nice surprise. The voice was better than ever and she was singing live a lot. The Tokyo soundboard is something I can't get tired of. It was super exciting to wait for a new song almost in every show. I saw it 4 times (Turin, London, Glasgow) and really enjoyed myself every time, although 3 times I was on my own; in London I found myself very very close to the stage! I really loved the banana moment and as many of you know I even fought for it.

3. TV & Live Appearances - Luv all the Rebel Heart promo + awesome live appearances. Yes, the promo has been a real gift to her fans. Other than that horrific episode of her being pulled down the stage @ the Brit Awards 4 Living for Love, it's been a great era for TV & Live appearances.

 

2. Rebel Heart album - Thanks to Fighter for the new M-Infinity forum to usher in the new Rebel Heart album. Such a fun thrilling time speculating possible tracks + song titles based on M's IG posts & rumors on social media. Unfortunate that the demos leaked in advance. Believe I'm in the minority of  those who luv the final versions on the album esp. Rebel Heart, WAOM. The way I see it is they are different from the demos we already have + over time the Avicii's sound sounds a little cheesy to me. More singles should have been released. Sad that there were no physical single releases!!!

 

1. Rebel Heart Tour - What a SPECTACULAR show! Luv the setlist, costumes, her stage presence, her smiles, her crowd interaction etc. Luv the acoustic section so much esp the part where she sings different songs in different shows. Saw the show live 3 times, including the the Brooklyn show when she debuted Ghosttown in the acoustic section. And It's been so much fun & pleasure following M in every city through online streaming with so many here in the forum. So thank you all for the wonderful experience & making this tour era so memorable & magical.

 

For the mere fact that we're are fortunate enough to still enjoy M's creative vision in the Rebel Heart album, tour & promo & it's been such a remarkable era, i give it 5 Bananas.

I voted TV & live appearances, overwhelmingly due to Tears of A Clown 1, which I reeeeeaallly loved.

 

I can't say I enjoyed the album or tour TBH, as much as I tried. I guess she can't please everyone all the time. 😃

3 bananas from me. Was a good era and I love it but nothing outstanding to me. I know that many fans absolutely adore this era but I guess it is mainly because they dislike Hard Candy and MDNA. I personally love Hard Candy and MDNA so the Rebel Heart era was not the phoenix out of the ashes for me as it was for some. It was just another good era to me but nothing extremely special.
