Exactly- the people moaning about the prices of the box sets are happy to shell out $50 on a hologram sleeve or more vinyl reissues - I would pay £200 for a Madonna box set if it was anything like the Prince releases but so far all they are doing is just throwing scraps at us and laughing probably at how easy it is to please vinyl fans …

i dont get the hate for the next best thing either ? shes very natural and loose in that film and it has a great premise, supporting cast and a sweet ending ?? i know people who dont even like M and they think swept away and TNBT are good movies(not masterpieces) but i would rather watch them than any of the dc/marvel/disney CGI remakes borefests....

It’s a good performance from M but to me the music is very dated so I never listen to it - I’m not a fan of musicals anyway but I’m glad she got to do it as I know it was one of her biggest dreams 🥰

She looked beautiful in SS but her acting was dreadful- Sean just looks drunk most of the time ( he was hot though ) the rest of the cast aren’t much cop either - I think swept away is a better well made film. I did like the title song Shanghai surprise from George Harrison 🥰

It’s actually really funny film. Of course it was never going to be well received - I would say after wtg , DSS and the next best thing it’s my fave m film - great soundtrack and stunning cinematography too - give it a chance people 😊 quite romantic too in some scenes

At this point I’m relaxed on if or ever we will get an expanded release - I think a lot of the frustration here is other artists are putting out expanded releases now with unreleased content ( Prince , Mariah etc )
if we don’t get anything I don’t care anymore - I’ll stick with the demos I’ve bought and downloaded from here …

I get that but I would begrudge buying tour merchandise as it’s so over priced and the quality isn’t great - I think her tour books have really gone downhill till since RIT

I agree but to be fair that’s kind of what they’ve been doing already and the vinyl fans are happy - plus the hologram covers fans - for me it’s been a complete letdown 🥹

I don’t care about streaming but to me it’s a near perfect collection. I still think cherish shouldn’t be there - should have included who’s that girl instead as the jump from La Isla to LAP just doesn’t gel right to me from a fan perspective plus seeing as she hated cherish I’m surprised she included it at all ? 🤔

The first Madonna album I bought on cd - the only songs I don’t like are cry baby and I’m going bananas but the rest is gold imo - should be an interesting one for the reissues assuming we have one planned and the artwork was gorgeous too / vogue still doesn’t sound like it should be on here though
