yes. the twins call her mambo you can see in some video's i think it's adorable how they call her that.

Totally agree.  If I recall correctly, it's what they called Madonna at first, rather "mom" and/or "mother".  I'm assume it had a lot to do with their accent and lack of English at first.  It's very endearing.

I think Mambo could mean nanny if i'm not mistaken like you said has to do with their accent or background in Africa?
