I'm very upset these leaked.

yes, they are some of her best work to date, better than HC or MDNA, but you can tell these are demos.

possibly, this could be the best PR for the new album.... the way this has happened is strange.  These should all be watermarked.  If they were watermarked, no one would dare leak them.

I disagree, despite not being Madonna's best records, they do have some excellent songs. It's quite ungrateful to say the opposite. In any case, every Madonna album has had weak songs, it's not like all the material she's produced has been classic. Personally, I think I like around 60% of the material leaked today in full, it definitely doesn't sound finished so I hope Madonna and her 'team' read all the reactions on the internet and select the best songs so we can have a truly epic album this time. I know she must be devastated, but that's another story. The ballads must be included in the record, as always, they never disappoint.

Living for Love and Rebel Heart scream success!!!!

MADONNA’S ALBUM LEAKED EARLY AND EVERYONE IS GARBAGE
Nothing is sacred in this world, privacy is a privilege at best and everybody is truly the fucking worst.

Madonna‘s upcoming album, which is still untitled because that’s how unfinished it is, has leaked early. Or, at least up to 13 full demos worth have surfaced from the upcoming MDNA follow-up. It’s an unprecedented kind of fuck-up for a pop icon’s campaign: Sure, Britney‘s legendary 2007 record Blackout all but entirely leaked in demo form about a month prior to its release, but the album was already in place, forcing the record label to merely bump up the release date by a few weeks. This, in comparison, is a nightmare.

Whether it was a Madge-loving cyber-hacker, a record label intern being paid off by a thirsty stan or someone in her circle who just can’t keep a secret (Lourdes, what are you doing over there on your laptop, dear?), these songs are floating around: “Unapologetic Bitch.†“Bitch I’m Madonna.†“Messiah.†“Iconic.†“Living For Love.†They’re all out — the same songs she’s been Instagramming and hashtagging about for over a year now.

I feel incredibly sad for Madonna today. Not for her chart numbers or her sales: This isn’t going to break the bank or end her reign, obviously. She’s a rich bitch with a million houses (and a driver and a jet, a trainer and a butler and a bodyguard or five), but all that has nothing to do with it. No one makes money on records anymore, anyway.

She’s still an artist, this is still her art. And frankly, she’s far too important to pop culture to have her record spill out in its unpolished entirety for lessers to casually download on a Wednesday morning. Her music must mean something more. She is the actual Queen Of Pop, and this wasn’t supposed to be the way it all went down.

Imagine what she might have been planning behind-the-scenes: A surprise concert in New York City. An official single debut on New Year’s Eve. A weird Instagram hashtag challenge to unlock a song. I don’t even know, it could have been a million things. That’s the fun of pop! The promotional journey toward the record is half the experience. It’s been over 20 years, and people are still talking about her Pajama Party on MTV to promote Bedtime Stories.

I get a song leak or two beforehand. That happens. But why can’t she, or any other artist out there for that matter, have herself a proper campaign? Why can’t the material be presented as intended? Does everyone need to pull a Beyoncé (or be Taylor Swift) just to avoid this kind of invasion? It’s bullshit, and ultimately discouraging. Why even try at this point?

Of course I listened: There’s no use being a moral hero — once it’s out there, it’s out there. There’s no going back. And, for what it’s worth, the material is already light years ahead of MDNA, even in demo form. It’s more innovative and intriguing than her trend-hopping 2012 dance record. She’s really singing! Very American Life. Still, it’s pointless to review any of this at the moment, considering it will likely sound entirely different in finished form…if the album even sees the light of day.

She’s been right all along, though: Trust no bitch.

UPDATE:

“This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demo’s half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?â€

I have to admit the songs I've heard are appalling, this really isn't good Rebel Heart is the best out of the 11.

I really hope these will change when its released my skeptic side is thinking were these leaked on purpose because she doesn't have confidence in her own work.

I'm not trolling I love everything Madonna does but i'm extremely disappointed by what i've heard today.

What? What about Heartbreak City, Messiah and Joan Of Arc? These are perfection, perfection :suffer:

I thought they all sounded the same, Rebel Heart was instantly catchy and a good song, not feeling the new stuff at the moment but know i need to wait to see what the official release will be like, hopefully it changes drastically.

Madonna Dismisses New Album Leak As 'Unfinished Demos Stolen Long Ago'
Internet, you've screwed up a record release again.

Before Madonna had even announced the official title and release date of her upcoming 2015 album, leaked Madonna tracks allegedly comprising the entire album have hit the Internet. Shortly after Twitter exploded with the news, Madge herself took to Instagram to comment on the situation. She dismissed the leaked versions as "unfinished demos stolen long ago" and thanked fans for their "loyalty" in "not listening" to the unfinished material.

At this point, Madonna presumably wishes she lived in an exclusively material, non-digital world....

Seriously, what reassures me is that I don't have the same akward feeling I had when the GMAYL demo leaked, so this must be good!!! The ballads are excellent!! Heartbreak City and Joan of Arc stand out! I am definitely buying this new record :) I've even heard nice comment from members of my family (who are beyond tired of her lol) so that's something!

Wow, I can't believe it. How did this many leak? I would be pissed too if my unfinished work was leaked before I released the product. I mean, I don't think it would be been as big of a deal if they had leaked these demos after the release date, but to do it before the album even has a release date is too much.

Madonna, God and who else may find it appalling....but....if half of the songs do not end up on the final version of the album..... WE WILL HAVE MORE (M-O-R-E) I mean pluckin' more songs to listen to. the songs from the album, all the bonuses from the international album versions, and these songs (the demos as some (and the queen herself) say)...... that's a whole lotta music...damned.... forgive me, or NO...dont forgive me... I will buy the album anyways...so !!!! happy christmas darlings :) :) :)

I am a happy soul ! some of the songs are pure gems!
