I support every person’s right to pursue happiness in any way they see fit so long as it doesn’t hurt anyone or infringe on anyone else’s rights. 
 

For some extra knowledge, the term “homophobic” came from the fear of gay people during the aids crisis. No one is afraid of trans people. And casually throwing out terms like “racist” and “transphobic” against anyone who says something you don’t like only diminishes those terms and makes you look like you have nothing of substance to say and thus must resort to name-calling.

No it didn't   The term was coined in the 60's. And homophobia was very prevalent long before the AIDS crisis. That only exacerbated it.
