Sorry for the late @@Fighter. About an hour after the huge London terrorist attack she posted that rose wine glass "relaxed in my garden" picture and when I saw it - I was in the middle of the umpteenth shock - I thought "wow, as a public figure, this is not a sensitive choice right now".

 

Of course she could have not heard about the facts yet, but I have to say I found it disappointing that she neither made any statement about the Manchester attack of the precedent week, especially being a singer herself...

 

Now, I want it to be very clear: I'm not judging her, I don't know what she's really doing except a few Instagram posts about her private life, we all know that she is committed to various social issues, like her Malawi and Detroit projects, wich are surely going on. My comment was all about the choice of the specific picture in the specific moment and her absolute silence about the facts of the last weeks.

but she doesn't have to post about everything. Yes it's terrible about London also, but there's also lots of terrible attacks and violence in many other non-western countries and if you can't send a statement about all of them.

I could be wrong But i think when she posted the rose glass was about the same time the attack happened, and if she was outside maybe she didn't hear about it yet. I don't think it was intentionally.
