Judging by the short previews ive seen i think i will need some paracetemol ? The editing is way too fast for my taste and then the slow motion ??? Is it too much to ask for a concert without these ? Why does she insist on editing a 2 hour concert film as if its a 4 minute music video ? you will never get a true representation of the show now ? :(

First impressions from the three videos posted:

 

Dress You Up: the editing without Lucky Star works really well and the spirit of the piece is really well preserved!

 

Burning Up: pity that the bit "This bitch is on fire" that sometimes she sings (as in Tokyo) is not included in this specific performance... But very nice details on musicians! And very nice audio.

 

Holy Water: if I remember well, she had a problem in Melbourne of taking the mic in time at the beginning of Vogue on the pole, but the slow motion effect saves it...

The same thing happened in Brisbane, she was right in front of me and I was watching her face and for some reason she was late to start the 'c'mon vogue...' part. I remember thinking that she just must have forgotten haha

I expected to see an audio download link by now.

Maybe I should record the audio from my hdtv from the next showtime airing @ 11am.

But by then a download link might have already surfaced.

Yes, I agree, the video quality is very good with shots and colors, and also that kind of 3D effects with the backdrop videos, but still too fast. If a concert is good it doesn't have to be fast! You want to enjoy it, if I hadn't seen it a million times already sometimes I would not understand what is going on...

I'd rather put multiple angles in the dvd. And of course backdrops as extras.

You are all right, a lot better than the previous dvds...

Still I am not totally convinced about those costume/show changes.

The magic of a single live show captured live such as Turni 1987 or Barcelona 1990, with no retouches and no filters, is different.

But the editing is ver accurate and she looks so BEAUTIFUL!!!
