I LOVE that song!

I think her hair was long when she recorded True Blue.  At the press conference in London, when she filmed Shanghai Surprise, she said that she was in the process of mixing the album.

She cut it off when it was time to shoot the video for Papa Don't Preach and for the photo sessions with Herb Ritts for the album cover...

But I'm pretty sure she had that short blonde hair when she recorded the songs for Who's That Girl.

Well, actually it was Malcolm McLaren that first did a record about it in 1989, Deep In Vogue.
A couple of months later Madonna vogued at the MTV Award Show and then came the worldwide superhit in 1990, Vogue.
Janet's fans seem a bit... desperate.

Webster Hall, where Madonna had her Pyama Party, to promote the new single Bedtime Story.

I love this song! And it from the days when The X-Files was on TV, and I loved the show. The song felt like a perfect soundtrack.

I found the CD-single in the record store when it was brand new and bought it immediately!
Many years later, I found the 12" in really good condition.

They're probably saving it for a deluxe edition of Madonna's first album, that we all hope will come this summer.

I hope Madonna can include footage from this evening in the deluxe edition of Like A Virgin!

I remember when I bought the cd, released on the 27th of February here in Sweden, and how I was blown away by the music.

After years of slow, boring music, MY Queen was back!

Yeah, it's a wonderful re-issue.
I have the CD edition of this box, that also includes a DVD, and it's just heaven.
Remixes, alternate mixes and demos. Wonderful.

When Kate Bush reissued her music a few years ago she did replace some guy on a record for something he'd done, and she didn't want him on her albums anymore.

It can be done. And while she's at it, erase that stupid Maluma too. Performing in Qatar, knowing the situation there, is unforgivable.

Meanwhile...

Here in Sweden they have removed Paramount+ completely and replaced it with a new thing called SkyShowtime, and said that we could watch our favorites there instead.

Madonna is a smart business woman, and she'll keep the Egan mixes for a deluxe edition of the first album. ;)

When you release a single, you put the main song on side a and something else on side be.

Madonna usually put album tracks or instrumental versions on her b-sides, but Prince usually put songs that were outtakes from albums and unavailable on the albums. That way, fans would buy the singles too, and Prince would sell more records.

I'm already saving money, so I can afford a Super Deluxe Edition.

In 1992 she made movies, Sex and Erotica. NO time for a tour.

Music is an amazing club banger. I liked the song for many years, but when I heard it played LOUD a few years ago I realized whan a floorfiller it really is.
