Yay, my favorite time! This is where we get teased with snippets of workshops and rehearsals of Rescue Me, Gambler, Physical Attraction, You’ll See, Nothing Really Matters, Keep it Together… with crazy-ass, cool arrangements and choreography…
…only for them all to be binned, and never heard of again before opening night.

Maybe we need to brace ourselves for the Tik Tok-edited 2 minute run time of every classic 🤭 That way she should cover it all!

It’s a strong possibility that M splits the set list in a similar way that she did with the standard edition of FEL… equal number of songs from each decade. Even if that means sacrificing a couple of ‘expected’ songs. People - especially casuals - might complain, but M will be like: “Bitch, I did tell you it would be four decades!”
I think this will also keep it fresh for her with her strongest interest always being in her more recent work.

You know what I'm looking forward to the most: when concert fans will start:
"She has no respect for her fans. My ticket show start time said 8pm and I expected her to come on at 8.03pm at the latest. She didn't come on stage until 4 days later. I'm fuming. Never again...."
And… “she cut the first four songs, cut the middle section medley, tried to scam me out of two thousand dollars for a Polaroid of her ass and then left without saying bye”.

Are they? They weren't doing it until lunch time. They were lots of tickets in 110, 109, 103
I just checked and the do £250 and £200 . £250 in area 111,110, some 109, 103 and the upper ones for £200, you are better off paying £50 quid more and being downstairs, those are pretty good seats.
They do a hefty booking fee, but that's everywhere
If you pick premium that's a different world
Thanks. But where are you seeing this? I’m looking at Sat 14th and it’s 900 plus pounds for block 419!! Ands that’s not selecting premium 😞

What happened to the rumoured Birmingham (UK) date ?
I was hoping for Birmingham as that is where I live. Spoilt with MDNA and RH tours. But I booked London today because I cannot see how a Birmingham date would fit into her schedule with the rumored other London dates and with her travel in and out of UK beforehand and afterwards 🙁

I struggled with London 02 Presale all day. Refreshed at 2pm and managed to get two floor B3 row K seats, hopefully just at the end of the catwalk in the middle of the row 😬
I was worried about being pushed into one of the weekday dates and struggling with work.

My show opening pitch: Cinematic career montage with music and dialogue from interviews, leading into Celebration as the opening live number, beginning with the line: “Haven’t I seen you somewhere before….? You look familiar…”
Then boom - she arrives. Think RIT opening dialogue: ‘behold, I am coming soon…”
Close the show with Holiday to bring the ‘celebration’ lyrics and theme full circle 🤓

M should have released this album a week or two earlier. A little more in-person TV and online promo in the US, then flew over to UK/Europe for a few days of TV interviews etc, dropped the record and THEN fly to Italy from there to sit on that boat.
A number 1 album matters, of course it does. If nothing else, but to remind everyone that she is still here and kicking ass. There should have been more promo reminding people of how many great classic tracks this release covers. -

It felt like she was constantly working on it and auditioning people then all of sudden in the Spring we haven’t seen a single thing about it. She really is just bad luck with movies
I get the impression that the casting (and probably other things) were an example of Madonna putting the cart before the horse and getting carried away with herself - and with the desire to get the project in the news and trending (for finance backing). But the project is probably nowhere near the stage where casting is needed.
This is one reason why I hope/wish M has a more experienced film producer/director working more closely with her on this.

I got round to watching Elvis last night - a really good film which covers so many years in approx 2hr 40mins. I did not find it is effective as Rocketman, which I thought was a bit more deep. Elvis suffers from skating over so much very quickly, which is the problem that I imagine M's biopic suffering from. Also, it reminded me that to effectively capture both the drama of the story and the effectiveness of the live performances, M needs to choose very carefully whether she is the director of this movie or not. I think she should be the main producer, or even co-director.

My personal dislike of the N word in any song takes the shine off a little bit
The N word should not be used at all. I intensely dislike how black artists use the word, but when it is used by any other ethnicity there is such cultural outrage. All ethnic groups should equally disavow the word and it’s use in popular culture.

I’m loving the 16 track edition.
However, I wish the full edition was coming out now. I appreciate the whole birthday release idea - and that’s ‘nice’ - but I need full FEL now for the summer. The late August release date is knocking on Autumn’s door 😩- RUADJAI, Fontainebleau and Roy

Let us also not forget that Anthony, too, lost his mother at a young age and undoubtably struggled with this, possibly in correlation with his unfortunate addictions. RIP.
