I'm trying to figure out the source of that spoken word version of Die Another Day?
-
Yep, it's originally on the vocal track (not included on the final version, except for the spoken bits we know) and was actually used in some of the official remixes.

Why is it so difficult now to find download links for Madonna's first 4 albums and I only find the "reissue" or remastered versions?
I don't have a very good opinion about the remastering. And not only in the case of Madonna but also in other artists such as Britney Spears, Petshop Boys, etc. I much prefer to listen to the original versions but now it is difficult for me to be able to download them when before it was easier to find.
-
Sadly it just the way it goes. The remasters usually become the new main ones and the originals are left behind. Which is a pity.
The 2001 Madonna remasters became the standard editions for those three first albums, and mastering is very different from the originals.
"True Blue" is even worse cause with the 35th digital edition it got an even louder worse mastering and every digital edition of the album was updated with that one.
I'm not against remasters per se, but always keeping the originals, especially on streaming. I don't like the rewriting history part of that when the just upload the new files and delete the originals.
As fas as I know, only Qobuz now has the first 4 albums in their original form/mastering:

But wow at those prices.

Madonna with or without social networks?
Curious about your opinion......
I remember before insta, facebook, Twitter ecc ecc were a big things, in the 00', 10'.... and Madonna was at her peak...... when every M album was THE ALBUM, when she was one of the few..... and the other 2 was Britney and Christina.... you can only dream about her house, her private life, about everthing and everyone who surrounded her..... now everthing is out on social...... a good or a bad thing? honestly i prefer the mistery M was surrounded by in the 00'- 10' .... you have no idea how her homes were..... her closet, her art collection ecc ecc.... again you can only dream about that in that era..... Now for me, a lot of the allure gone..... so i really like singers and actors who are out of social and keep some sort of mystery about them......
M on social network is good or bad?

Does anyone have a transcript of the words in the Living for Love interlude? It sounds like Bob the Drag Queen and even with the clearest recording, I can't make it out. I know it starts with "Dearly beloved....."
-
It's not Bob The Drag Queen, it's Prince! It's the spoken intro from his 1984 song (and hit) "Let's Go Crazy", from the "Purple Rain" album.

Why isn't this available on Spotify?
-
Nope @PlayPause, that's all greyed out, at least in Europe. Where do you live? Maybe you have the local files and that's why you can play it?

The whole album was available officially on every digital platform for years until it was removed around 2016-2017, no one knows why.
Since it was M's first live album and rare for her at the time, maybe its release was some kind of one-off deal with Warner with that and the rights expired or something. But they had together after that the "Confessions" and "Sticky" live albums too, and those are still available, so I don't know.

how many
"Exclusive to the iTunes edition of The Immaculate Collection" mixes were there ? -

You mean which ones are different from the original CD/vinyl/cassette editions?
Two: "Lucky Star" is the Extended/US/New Mix and "Borderline" is the album version. The rest are the same.
This change is present in every digital edition of the album, not only iTunes and Apple Music, also Spotify, TIDAL, etc.

It’s quite shocking to me how many stars didn’t wish Madonna a healthy recovery, they absolutely in silence, including the one that M paved the way for them. It’s absolutely shows they true colors, so much jealousy and hate in their harts.
-
They all want her blessing for their own careers, a feat with her and a pic with her, but they won't post a single message about her when she needs them.
She's always been on her own in the end and it's really sad.
Of course all of them would be the first to post something if the thing that we must not mention happened.
The star system sucks.

There's a big surprise coming in the next 10 days that I know a lot of people have been waiting for! Stay tuned… 👀

OK so Taylor Swift just had her frist show of the eras tour which was a 44 song setlist and it was 3 hours long, makes me wonder if Madonna will do something similar just to fit as many songs as possible.

My theory is that they did'nt have clear what to do for RSD and send the info with Lisa DiscoHouse and danceteria as code, to avoid people sharing links beforehand. (as it happened with Erotica single) or maybe they were trying to have a special Holiday, Everybody, Ain't big deal. And it didn't work.

"This last disc is hard going,
purely because unless you really made a lot of effort to buy and try and ‘get into’ these more recent Madonna albums,
you’re going into it blind."

But is he, really? The way he talks about most of the remixes shows he has absolutely NO idea about dance music and he's only doing it for the dragging. Is more a random collection of views and personal prejudices than a proper music review.
The Sasha Ultra Violet Mix of ‘Ray of Light’ sounds like the kind of music that hostile military forces play when they are trying to break the spirit of the captured enemy. ‘Nothing Really Matters’ starts well but turns into an exercise in ‘boom-tish’ tedium. The Calderone Radio Mix of ‘Beautiful Stranger’ was surely never played on any radio and the Richard ‘Humpty’ Vission Radio Mix of ‘American Pie’ is something that all the King’s horses and all the King’s men couldn’t save. The Deep Dish Dot Com Radio Edit of ‘Music’ has a name that had my finger hovering over the ‘skip’ button, but it’s actually rather good and offers some respite mid-CD, but Thunderpuss Video Remix of ‘Don’t Tell Me’ is truly awful. The Above And Beyond Club Radio Mix of ‘What It Feels Like For A Girl’ is supposed to be a remix classic; it probably sounded good in Ibiza. And so it continues. The ‘Die Another Die‘ remix is unlistenable and suddenly, I am no longer familiar with the original songs anymore. ‘Me Against The Music’? Nope. ’Nothing Fails’? No memory at all.
"It probably sounded good in Ibiza". Is that supposed to be shade? Of course it did, it's a club mix, b***h. What kind of review is "this song? Nope, I don't know it. Was this released here?", I mean.
