Lucky90210 741
At least she was acknowledged on some level. I'd rather she have one nomination than none at all. At least now she is part of the conversation. Makes me like the song better. I am living for this Madonna 2020 Grammy nomination! I hope she wins. She deserves it. Voguerista 11,818
Sad. She is so deserving of more, but I'm glad there is at least one nomination. A. A. Aardvark, somethingscomingover and Lucky90210
Voguerista 11,818
Why not a nomination for one of her videos? I thought the Medellin, God Control, and Batuka videos were magnificent. ? A. A. Aardvark 4,842
What did Tracy Young ever do wrong ? I happen to love that mix ['s]. David Bowie won one Grammy while alive and not exactly for music. I hope she's not too upset if she doesn't win. valinecode

Askeroff 8,109
meh i think I Rise Tracy Remix is blank and basic. One of the worst in this era. There's a lot more good remixes who deserve it more. Even Offer Nissim is really serving MX era with his mixes. Anyway its sad that nomination only goes to remixer . not to an artist Voguerista and New_Boy

somethingscomingover 428
I was so sad to see that there weren't more nominations for her, but one is better than nothing, I suppose. Voguerista
Fighter 28,798
I'm glad there was something M related on this as I was not expecting anything at all the grammys are trash Voguerista and New_Boy
stfan97 2,829
The Grammys are all about industry politics, and M often makes herself unfriendly even to her fans. It's a waste of time worrying about it. M doesn't seek approval and there's no reason we should care on her behalf if she doesn't. Nick 2,362
Out of all things to nominate, the Tracy Young remix of I Rise? I'll take it, I guess. The rest of the nominations really don't interest me, other than NFR. Would love Lana to take AOTY, but it's tough when she's up against Billie and Ariana. Both of their albums don't compare to NFR, imo, but knowing the Grammys one of them will most likely take AOTY. wtg1987 10,169
This really ticks me off - no doubt Taylor swift and Bruce Springsteen we’re nominated - the Grammys are bull shit - it’s all about popularity now and old sexism towards females like Madonna Voguerista
wtg1987 10,169
And what a shocker Beyoncé was nominated for that shit song she did for the awful lion king film -that’s surprising ? Voguerista, thisisyuri and madenis 2
madenis 915
I guess she knew that she wouldn't be nominated since she'll be on stage in London that night. Voguerista, wtg1987 and stfan97 1

thisisyuri 16
People told me, in case "I rise" wins, the award is not going to Madonna and yep for Tracy Young Edited November 20, 2019 by thisisyuri (see edit history) Voguerista

Not sure about Taylor as I don't care. It's not a big deal. I knew Madonna wouldn't be nominated. We only care because Madonna didn't get nominated. Some try to look at it as some devious plot to shut her out. I don't see it that way. Every year it's different. It's not only the popular who got nominated. It's a wide range of nominations. Most years it is. However, the actual televised ceremony focuses on who is hot and popular. That's always been the case. I mean; no one would care or watch if it was full of nominations of nobodies or older artists that no one pays much attention to. So the nomination really goes to Tracy Young, not Madonna. So even if she wins, it really doesn't add anything to Madonna's career of awards.
