So wait! Let me get this right. I can drag a music video into a playlist of her singles on Spotify  and essentially my device will play the audio for video version. Which means we have access to the True Blue, Papa, Into The Groove, etc  edits all along?

 I really hope the Who's That Girl era is coming back to us. It was such a HUGE thing in 1987 with the movie, the tour, the soundtrack. I even had the It's That Girl back in the day adding to all the excitement. It would be such a shame to not serve it up to us. I am fingers crossed for next week. If we get Who's that Girl we should hopefully get Commotion and Open Your Heart (Please let us get that single mix)

Don't jump to conclusions. Wikipedia had the date wrong (and as a result of that, so did my list). The actual release date is the 30th of June. There is still a chance that it is coming to streaming next week.

They may of course continue to drag this campaign out for another year considering that they skipped a bunch of anniversaries this year, but let’s not give up our hopes!

So if this is true, it's just a matter that some got dates mixed up.   Thanks for your post.  I really love the extended mix of WTG.  I'm glad to see it's finally getting a digital/streaming add.

I'' never understand the art direction for the Who's That Girl Era.

Admittedly the photo shoots weren't great but we really got the most awful album and singles covers (The Look Of Love aside)

I always preferred both picture discs shoot images tbh.

 

Completely understand why they changed it for the super deluxe edition.

These pics are reminding me how I’d thought that her WTG era looks were sort of a step back toward her DSS style. Like they’d realized her True Blue Hollywood glamor throwback look was maybe a little too mature and she wanted to seem a bit edgier and funkier again.

LOL.. you do know these photo shoots happened at the same time as the True Blue Shoot. The shots for the actual WTG singles and album were based from the film. 

True Blue and WTG era were equally about trying to glamorize her look as a 80's Blonde bombshell that was starting to make a comeback based on the 40's and 50's pin up look of the time.

One I found is cropped into a banner type crop but I couldn't find full picture at full resolution homever this one is the same source ad the one they shared

Can't believe we are missing the Axwell Remix that's only in this version, can someone DM Johann and ask them to activate this release? It's missing a remix that's on it's short version everywhere and this one has the full one

Late 2005/early 2006 was the peak of madonna.com indeed (during COADF campaign). I remember to have discovered the Virgin Tour live in Detroit videos through there.
