There is a rumor that has been going around about Madonna being in talks to do a residency at Caesar's Palace in a few years. Personally I think it would be cool, but I don't see Madonna doing a residency. What do you think?

They rumor everyone to do a Vegas residency at some point or another. Madonna could do it in two years possibly because she's going to get exhausted from the touring circuit sooner or later. She's not in her 20s and 30s anymore and at some point she's probably going to have to settle down. I could see her doing Caesar's or even the new Las Vegas Arena,which would be way more ideal. Madonna could easily sell that arena out in a residency for two years if all her cards were played right.

Then why would she come here every tour? She's been here every tour since Drowned World Tour.  If she really didn't like Vegas she'd cancel her shows and/or never have Las Vegas put on the tour itinerary.

I can't recall where but she told that she it's not very fan of the city cause the ppl it's not into the show, always passing by because they don't have nothing to do, something like that.

She's performing in a casino. Obviously not everyone's going to be into it. If she got a residency at Las Vegas Arena,people would be coming from all over the world to see her,so it wouldn't just be Vegas Madonna fans.

Lady gaga's last tour was such a flop which very sad but her small "Las Vegas Only singer" style zazz concert with tony B was not bad at all! I really like it!

She is very fit at small Las Vegas dinner show! That's her area! That's her spot!

And I can feel that we can actually see her own las vegas show in two years. :D

She has said she's not gonna stop making music. And frankly I think the prospect of another movie is difficult, how much money did W.E. lose? It's a pretty solid film but it got panned unjustly, not sure if getting money for it is going to be very easy unless she goes back to more indie style of film making.

We got MDNA and Rebel Heart, leaving one more album. I remember because around November last year there was speculation that RH would be a double album like Justin Timberlake's 20/20 so as to fulfill the remainder of her contract.

 

Anyhow, I can't imagine her doing a residency, I don't think that doing the same show, in the same location, night after night, would offer the same unique experience she wants to offer at her shows.

I think if she would do it at all, she would do like what Gaga did at Roseland and Beyonce in Atlantic City and make it a limited engagement. Like maybe three or four weeks of shows and then stop. She could easily sell out the Colosseum every night, but I could also see her doing something like Michael Jackson planned to do. 50 shows in an arena such as the MGM Grand or Mandaley Bay or the New Vegas Arena.

LMAO Gaga's Monster Ball was 2 years long, if that's not a "mega world tour" I don't know how to call it. Have you seen the artRAVE? That was not a long tour but she kept killing it every night, and at the BTWBall she injured her hip and she performed until she couldn't take it anymore. Madonna, Gaga and Beyoncé are the only female pop artists that can handle a "mega world tour" as pop music requires, with choreographies and everything. I see there's a lot of bands making world tours with a lot of success but you don't see them dancing and singing every ff night. And I don't want to split tea, but Britney's tours are all lip-synched (not even pre-recorded, they just play the record), and after the Circus tour she can't really dance as she used to, that's why she's making her Vegas show. Madonna is not doing any residency, not now and I would say that she never will.

I'm telling you facts, not rumors. Last Gaga's show here in Spain was for the Cheek to Cheek tour. Tickets went from 240€ to 280€ ($260-$300), and they were all sold out. It was a very exclusive show, but the whole artRAVE tour was sold out too. She's won a Grammy with that album and it's not even her own personal style of music. You cannot say that a dinner show in Vegas is her most succesful thing in her recent carrer. She is acting in one of the most successful TV series of all time (AHS) and she's not even an actress. Please when you talk about something get some objective information before.

That would be interesting. If she did arena's all the way do MSG but I'd LOVE to see her do like Radio City! She said that she never really got to do those theatre shows because The Virgin Tour through her into arena's after the Seattle opener and she seemed to be so happy and she seemed so happy doing L'Olympia and I think that she'd love a theatre gig personally.

You're right about the third album, I always forget Hard Candy wasn't part of the deal. Most artists use a Greatest Hits to finish off a multi album deal so if anything I'd guess a Something To Remember: Volume 2 type release covering Ray of Light to date would be the easiest option.

She needs to start mining her unreleased back catalogue i think ? so much unreleased music(warning signs, desperately seeking susan, love attack, first is a kiss etc) and thats just the audio side ? video wise she still has all those tours not released on dvd and blu-rays we still need the paris blond ambition and rit plus the ct blu-ray would be amazing too - if i worked at her record company i would totally rinse her archives for her fans ? she could do what Michael Jackson did with his Bad25 Blu-Ray and take orders and release them on demand - that way there is no waste ?
