i think she meant that it was filmed like previous tours, however i wouldn't consider them a conventional film per say, more of a long form music video

nothing weird... I think "film" is just a technical word meaning the object of "tour filming", so a "film"... "assembly" a "demo" version of an edit... a full show put together as a preview...

thats not so peculiar, hollywood often does a rough cut of the movie to present to the person doing the soundtrack so they can get a feel for it, i.e John Williams has seen a rough edit of Star Wars 8 as he has started work on that soundtrack, i assume it's the same here

Exactly, she problably saw a rough cut of the tour video and gave the editors her notes, "Tour Film" standing for the recording of the show, she didn't said DVD because the release format is usually decided near the end of post-production. She was happy enough with the results to share with the fans, so keep calm, it's probrably going to be released near christmas

She can fill seats based on her name alone. Most ppl that go to see her don't even know the setlist. She did this for good reviews. Her next tour will hopefully be less 80's heavy.

Why do people talk about RHT as some sort of greatest hits tour, together with interlude songs there were 12 songs from the new album, 13 if you count Ghosttown, it is pretty much the same as last 2 tours give or take one song. S&S had 9 songs from Hard Candy.

It still baffles me that this isnt on dvd or blu-ray and dont say its a damn rights issue ? it was released on laserdisc 25 years ago ? Surely Pioneer dont still own them ?

It's now clearer than ever she buys her VMA, her Grammys and whatever shit she's nominated... I mean, her last memorable hit was Single Ladies (2008)? lol

 

Forget about the Grammys next year, Madonna was completely ignored with S&S and MDNA and they had pretty good reasons
