I would love to go, I just really am priced out the market this tour because I am going to Florida in July for 2 weeks and the cost of that, is almost the same for me to go to London! I am gutted to be missing out on it, especially as it's the first one I've missed since 2001. And I do love certain songs on the album. The late starts, don't bother me too much because as a person I am usually always running late. Although I do remember once being very late to a party and quoting one of her Rebel Heart being late speeches and it didn't go down well.... So I ain't do that again. Now I just copy Blanche from the Golden Girls and say "better late than....pregnant"! I would have liked to have seen the theatre setting because I prefer indoor. One of reasons I didn't really enjoy MDNA was because it was a stadium and I really don't like stadium concerts. I do feel sorry for Madonna on this tour, she is a perfectionist and I bet all these tiny-major f**k ups that we know about must have zapped her energy and enjoyment, so for her to go out each night and do it with such gusto is amazing. I don't think the God Control opening will be a "big" statement as it was in America, and most Brits agree that they should be banned and aren't really at all familiar with Bill of Amendments etc. I just hope some department store hurries up and makes a copy of that Versace costume/cloak thing because I love that.

Well, if you're referring to the elaborate set pieces, the dancers and choreography then I understand your perspective. After all, it still is a Madonna concert and it still is grand. But I think it's also intimate and more political. There are less casual hits and the Madame X tour has this woke theme which aims at thinking instead of dancing. But yes, I understand people saying she tried to pack an arena show into a theatre as Madonna is pushing the theatrical boundaries to the limits.

This isn't about Eurovision or whether the Met Gala was better, vice vera. But her cover of the song is very underrated and I wish the studio version of it would leak or make its way to us. She often recieves a lot of flack for her "limited singing" but come on! Good singing isn't about how loud you can sing, how long you can hold a note but also conveying the emotions and words of the song's author or character truthfully to achieve its maximum affect. Madonna may be no powerhouse but she is a damn good singer especially on ballads. Her way of selling emotion, the fragility, tenderness and warmthm of her voice is why despite the criticism she's always been applauded for songs like "Live To Tell, Oh Father, Frozen" because she excels at it. Aside from the point, this performance was the first time we got our first glimpse of "Dark Ballet" which began the long wait for news on whether it was the first single of the upcoming record, the #magic title for the longest and wondering if it would sometime in 2018. Unfortunately, it'd be close to a year's wait before we'd even get to sample Madonna's latest offering. This performance may not be a memorable one to the public consensus but damn, she looked gorgeous with that hairstyle, the outfit (a mixture of BAT and Joan of Arc) and the staging/the arrangements and how powerful it is. I remember the day it was uploaded I was going through a difficult time and her voice in "Hallelujah" along with Olivia Newton-John's "Xanadu" gave me hope things would get better and they have thankfully. When it showed up on my YouTube suggestions, I just wanted to give it a time to shine again on this forum. Feel free to sound off your thoughts and thank you for reading this.

Madame X will not miss a single penny that this tour can bring in. Under no circumstances Madonna and Livenation will forego the income from video / CD / DVD / TV / streaming utilization of the tour.

I wouldn't go that far. The riots in France recently, the Poll Tax Riots in the 80s in the UK and many many more exmples that contradict this. What I am saying is I don't think people in Europe will be annoyed shes talking about gun control. Its something that makes total sense.....

We're both past this fight at this point. We both have a part to play in this forum as we like to get others engaged in discussions as we're bound to near the end of the MX era where a lot of it will be waiting for a new project to come into fruition. No issues or bad blood with you. Things get heated and we've both owned up to our share of this "feud" and now, hopefully can be on friendlier terms especially given we've just pulled a Shannen Doherty/Alyssa Milano Charmed type of scenario to the masses. Like I said, no harm done. We all love and stan for the same woman and want the best for her and the fans who are afraid of cancelled shows and her health concerns. And agreed, let's move past this and continue contributing to the board whether we agree or not.

Many Madonna songs have made me cry. First ones that come to mind are The Power Of Goodbye,Frozen,To Have & Not To Hold,Falling Free,Love Tried To Welcome Me,I Want You,Take A Bow,etc.

True, everyone is entitled to their opinion. And yes, the Re-Invention Tour was great. My favourite tours this century are the Confessions Tour and the MDNA Tour. Both tours also had their fair share of detractors, especially the MDNA Tour, but I loved them anyway.

I feel the fans who are criticizing the tour want Madonna to play it safe. But it's Madonna, she doesn't do safe or familiar. Reviews are not saying the tour is perfect. On the contrary, sometimes the show is messy and weird. But if it ain't messy and weird, it ain't Madonna. To quote Rolling Stone: Her weirdness is where she finds her greatness. I don't ever want Madonna to be normal or to play it safe. I want her to take chances and to create a show no other artist has ever created. If it doesn't work out, then that's okay. At least she tried. And that's why I love Madonna: because she tries to be different. She IS different. If she fails she will learn from it. And Madonna failing is still far more interesting than anything any other pop star does. But I don't think she's failing. She's trying something new and in time she will perfect it. As always.

Lucky! It must have been a great experience and time! My first viewing was watching edited to death on a TV channel and then I watched it on a DVD (that was scratched from Blockbuster) that kept skipping during the Holiday and Keep It Together performances. My shock when she does a striptease and flashes. My mom was not having it.

If the show goes on, what kind of changes and/or additions or subtractions do you think or hope we'll see happen for the Madame X tour for the European leg? Currently, how do you feel and what do you predict? I think we'll see the return of "Sodade" for one. I also don't think we'll see Madonna doing stairs. I hope not anyway.

The fact everyone saved most of the MX promo videos, reported back with the image of Medellin Madonna slicing an apple and how the titles spelled Madame X - hilarious since she I think used EXpress Yourself to finish it. I was impressed how that one fan did so much work finding out the font, size and spacing to somehow finish it before she posted the final thing. Can't find the image but the missing words were in red.

That's what makes it fun and exciting is seeing how different minds view different things. I doubt Madonna would want us all to think and view things in one mind frame. I have my gripes as he has is and we're bound to ever see eye to eye. I for one don't mind people disagreeing with one another, it's the manner it's done and I've mentioned it in several posts above tirelessly. No need to put those blocks of texts in more circulation. I would have never noticed the edited post of his to make even more untrue claims and make even more barbs at me. I would have accepted his apology as I had done when we first crossed paths had he not tried to say I was assuming things about Madonna and sources I had provided to him. Instead he continued to sell my post short and that didn't sit well with me. I don't wish any fan harm or bad karma so what's done is done. He's free to have his opinion of me and mine of his. Do I hate him? No. Do I disagree with him? Yes. Regardless of the point, I appreciate your kind gesture and for engaging in the forum as well providing it with lovely posts, discussion and well-wishes.
