Rebel Heart - Album Thread [Happy 1st Birthday!]

Well, Madonna has already made some bizarre artistic choices in the past as well. Like Jimmy Jimmy over Each Time You Break My Heart, Did You Do It? (when she had Shame), Spanish Lesson over Across the Sky, Beautiful Killer being a deluxe track etc. So I was kinda prepared for some shocking cuts  :)

Well, she was evolving and wasn't really a serious artist in the beginning of the 80s. True Blue was her first more serious and more mature album.

Sadly, I can picture this being the case more than even one new track being on the super deluxe.

So disappointed for no Graffiti Heart, Beautiful Scars, or Borrowed Time.

Hold Tight is just so generic and lyrically meaningless in comparison to what she could have released for the masses to hear.  At least the fans will still have the demos.  :broken:  I won't even get started on Holy Water, which is unbelievably even worse than S.E.X.  I don't mind songs about sex, but these two are lyrically the pits and NOT sexy.

Making songs like Freedom, Revolution and God Is Love and not  releasing them, not even as bonus songs, would be stupid and a waste of time.

There is always an option to release an EP after album. Just imagine,  Revolution Of Love EP inspired by AFF, with songs like Borrowed Time, Revolution, Freedom and God Is Love. All have similar themes and similar music style. Madonna better read this. :bananawave:

she never did something like this, tho'... And I can't see her doing it now, with a 19 track album to promote.

More likely a re-release for Xmas time (but she's not famous for huge re-releases...)

What I have heard. Not 100% sure so don't shoot the messanger.

ok.

How hilarious would it be for her to tuck in at the end of yet another edition, actually good songs *_*

The general public once again is gonna end up listening to inferior stuff, since the standard edition is the downsized version for those who dont wanna fork out 15dollars for a new Madonna album.

Yes, that's crazy. Apparantely Wash All Over Me have a retro mellotron arrangement and far from dancy anymore. Beautiful Scars got disco treatment.

It could work. Delivering more music will get anyone's attention.

Just look at Kylie, who surprised fans and public with her EP with Garibay, after album release. It was such a cool moment. She keeps surprising. First a tour with obscure songs, then an EP.  All so spontaneous. Madonna should take a note.

Thank god about WAOM! Beautiful Scars should be interesting if true.

I'm just glad we might still get to hear more finished versions of these songs, even if they end up being fan treasures only lol
