I hope it won't of course but I don't hide being scared in a way going there in a huge arena place with what frustrated people would call the queen of whores and sin. I hope outside of the venue a huge control service will surround the arena and that fan will be helpfull and not just stupid and crazy as they can be sometimes. Not running, not pushing outside and so on.

The music concert industry is starting to impose new security measures after performances were canceled in Paris and throughout Europe by U2, the Foo Fighters and other acts in the aftermath of the attacks at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris.

Live Nation, the global concert giant, said on Saturday that it would increase security at its venues, and other industry representatives are expected to do the same.

“The safety and security of our shows, fans and venues continues to be our highest priority,†the company said in a statement. “Due to the recent events in Paris and in an abundance of caution we have implemented heightened security procedures globally. However, because of the sensitive nature of these protocols, we cannot elaborate further on the specific details.â€

Additional security and police officers were present at a promotional event for Justin Bieber at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday, Billboard magazine reported. The Staples Center is owned and managed by A.E.G. Live, a rival of Live Nation.

Among the other concerts that have been canceled or postponed in France and around Europe over the weekend were appearances by Haitus Kaiyote, Motorhead, Nekfeu, Marina Kaye, Christophe Willem and Cirque du Soleil’s “Amaluna.â€

In some ways the concert business is still reeling from the fire in a nightclub in Bucharest, Romania, last month that killed 55 people. Some in the concert industry said it was too soon to assess what the developments would mean in the long term for tours and promoters, and it was unclear what effect greater security measures would have against highly coordinated attacks like the one in Paris.

“It’s only logical for major venues worldwide to have heightened security,†said Gary Bongiovanni, editor of Pollstar, a concert industry trade magazine. “But the truth is that there is only so much anyone can do to stop a wave of suicidal attackers.â€

Music stars also began to react to the killings. In an interview with the Irish radio station RTE FM2 on Saturday, Bono of U2 called the attacks “the first direct hit on music that we’ve had in this so-called war on terror.â€

Madonna addressed the killings in a long statement from the stage during her concert in Stockholm on Saturday. â€œIn many ways, I feel torn,†she told the crowd, her voice breaking. “Why am I up here dancing and having fun when people are crying over the loss of their loved ones?

“However, that is exactly what these people want to do,†Madonna continued. “They want to shut us up. They want to silence us. And we won’t let them.â€

Foo fighters have just cancelled the concerts in Paris (16th & 17th november) and Barcelona (19th november)

U2 only have cancelled shows from Paris

This morning I heard on BFM TV that Bercy and Le Zenith in Paris have reopened their doors from today then all the scheduled shows will continue as planned. Naturally the security will be greatly enhanced! I don't know anything else!

Shy'm and Simply Red will be performing in Paris tonight!

SECURITY MEASURES

Safety measures have been put in place following the attacks in Paris not only in Paris but also in Antwerp and Amsterdam.

  • [*]Ban to sleep in front of the Arena [*]The wait will not begin until 10 am [*]No bag or luggage over 25 liters will be allowed (type bag backpack or handbag) [*]No knife or blunt object will be allowed [*]No aerosol [*]No instrument types Vuvuzela  [*]No bottles or food. Refreshment stands will allow you to eat. [*]Several searches can be made [*]Only motorcycle helmets will be admitted setpoint

So that concerts take place in the best conditions and to facilitate the work of law enforcement thank you to follow these simple rules. The goal is to spend some quality time and enjoy life despite recent dramatic events. Therefore it is respecting these few devices that the concerts will happen in the best conditions. Nevertheless, the concerts will be canceled or postponed if other dramatic events would come to happen for obvious security reasons and out of respect. Thanks to all for your cooperation and we wish you a great show.

Straight from spokesperson at Bercy:

  • [*]No one is allowed to sleep at Bercy arena nights before the show [*]No bags, no bottes, no food [*]Three checkpoints before the waiting area [*]The check will open at 10am on the day of the show [*]No lockers available [*]if more dramatic events occur leading up to the shows, concerts will be cancelled

Better like this!

And I also like the fact that no wait will be admitted before 10am.

Let's be clever and cooperative. It's much more important in order to have 2 amazings shows!

Which is a good thing, because I was going to show up around 7 a.m.3 more hours of sleep for me :DI won't feel safe anyway so... At least it will mean less time standing there.

Mesures de protection du bâtiment et de sûreté des personnes en vigueur pendant les périodes d’accueil d’événements :

a) Outre la porte 38, utilisée pour les personnels travaillant sur le site, deux points d’accès au bâtiment ont été déterminés, l’un pour le grand public (à l’angle du boulevard et de la rue de Bercy), l’autre pour la clientèle des espaces dits « VIP Â» (au 12 boulevard de Bercy) ;

b) Le point d’accès unique pour le grand public permet de créer une « Zone Neutre Â» correspondant peu ou prou au domaine de la concession sur lequel est sise l’Aréna. Cette Zone Neutre ferme donc au public le domaine de la concession ;

c) Chacun des trois points d’accès à l’Aréna est sécurisé de l’extérieur par la présence de policiers armés sur la voie publique (au moins cinq par accès du public) ;

d) Les abords du domaine de concession et la Zone Neutre font l’objet de patrouilles permanentes de maîtres-chiens ;

e) Toute personne souhaitant accéder à l’Aréna par l’un des deux points d’accès du public fait l’objet d’une palpation de sécurité avec son accord (en cas contraire, l’accès à l’Aréna lui est refusé) ;

f) Un second contrôle de sécurité des personnes est effectué aux deux portes d’accès du grand public au bâtiment, à savoir à l’entrée du Grand Hall et à celle permettant de rejoindre la fosse de la Salle, sachant que le toute personne souhaitant ensuite à la Salle doit être munie d’un titre d’accès en règle ;

g) L’accès à l’Aréna avec un sac à dos ou tout autre bagage à main d’une contenance supérieure à dix litres est interdit ;

h) Le parc de stationnement des véhicules de tourisme réservé aux visiteurs de l’Aréna est fermé ;

i) Les locaux de l’Aréna sont inspectés avant l’ouverture des portes au public par des patrouilles de gardes de sécurité dotées de chiens entraînés à identifier les objets suspects ;

j) Les locaux de l’Aréna font l’objet d’une surveillance par un dispositif extérieur et intérieur de caméras de vidéosurveillance, manipulées par une équipe spécialisée de la DUS et dont les images sont conservés trente jours.

many and many on the website but also on the social networks want to mark the occasion at the dates of the Rebel Heart Tower in Paris. And for good reason after the deadly attacks on 13 November, Madonna was one of the first to show its support for the city of lights and kept the shows in the capital. You are indeed a number to hesitate to come or even to resell your tickets because you feel fear (legitimate). The only thing we can tell you is that security will be enhanced, Madonna personally sees to it. Now, go to a concert means a lot to make a militant act, so are campaigning together and thank Madonna for his unwavering support for France and the French. This is why we propose that when she sang "La Vie En Rose" to brandish this heart Bleu Blanc Rouge with the logo of the Eiffel Tower. One way to thank the Queen of Pop for her love for us. Simply print out the heart and carving.(We'll print a few for those who do not have the ability to print) We initially thought the French flag, but unfortunately flags are forbidden within the Accor Hotel Arena. Furthermore we do not accept the idea of the "Marseillaise" to avoid the cacophony. If Madonna wants to sing, we will follow. We hope as many of you participation. This initiative is us, the NAME of the site that take, but we would love it to be relayed by all other Fansite. No question of making the promotion or attract the sympathy of anyone in these times, we're all music lovers, we all want to keep going to concerts and we all love Madonna is all that matters. We hope to see thousands of heart on 9 and 10 December.

  • 2 weeks later...

That could be a great idea...let's hope many people will be motivated to take part in this project!

By the way I didn't know that flags were prohibited within Bercy! Are they sure?  :confused:

Flags are not forbidden, how ever flag poles are... Hampes drapeaux = flag poles

Madonna "Borrowed Time

Do we need to start a warDo we need to take a sideIf we open up our eyesRealise that we are blindIs it all worth fighting forIt all comes down toWho's wrong or rightWho's black or whiteIt doesn't matter what you're bleeding forStraight or biYour God or mineIt doesn't matter underneath it all‘cause we're only here to loveLike there's no tomorrowSo let's live each moment likeOur time is only borrowedDo we need to build a bombDo we need to fire a gunIf you have to stand your groundIt's a war that can't be wonIs it all worth dying forIt all comes down toWho's rich or poorVirgin or whoreIt doesn't matter what you're praying forDeath or lifeYour truth or mineIt doesn't matter underneath it all‘cause we're only here to loveLike there's no tomorrowSo let's live each moment likeOur time is only borrowed
