I know it's a waste of time, but it bothers me to see pages where nobody defends her. Social media is terrible (I've never posted a photo of myself nor used it to interact with my friends), but it's utilized by the masses, serving as the conduit for widespread opinions and specific narratives.

Politics infiltrates it as well, which is why I occasionally attempt to contribute by arguing with idiots.

It's true that often idiots drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. However, it's also vital to sometimes engage in dialogue to prevent these voices from dominating the media narrative and to foster societal progress. In this context, it's about defending Madonna, who is among the most vilified celebrities, consistently targeted by the media and belittled by dissatisfied misogynistic men or frustrated housewives.

I don't publish content about her, nor do I incite negative media coverage. When I encounter a post with an overwhelming number of negative comments, I sometimes reply politely and assert my opinions.

Sometimes I do that. It's frustrating for sure. But there's so many haters out there, its a never ending battle. It's like trying to fight the homophobia and racism on the internet. It's there and we can't do anything about it.

Today, amongst nasty comments about Madonna I also saw people saying Shania is a drunk embarassing old woman on stage and needs to also retire. Shania??? She's the LOVELIEST person, how can people hate her as well? To me this just proves it is pure misogyny and that people just hate on older women who don't conform to society. And yes, A LOT of them are women of a similar age saying these things. So that tells us a lot.

But when you actually think about it these losers who write comments will never achieve what Madonna achieved. My nr 1 formula 1 driver Max Verstappen was once asked how he deals with haters and he said: I don't pay attention to them, when someone is populair they will have many haters to, thats how it works. True.. Everybody is a victim of hate comments on social media these days. Ive seen dutch people comment on facebook saying Beyonce can't sing... like wtf... There is only ONE person who gets praise only and that's Taylor Swift
